Beautiful Turbine Sound: Cessna 208B Grand Caravan for Skydive 

As a pilot myself and someone who's skydived it's just all around fun.

I did to, then I tried it, one time and convince myself, the next day and started my PPL. 😂😂

As a passenger, I've often wondered the same thing.

Most jump planes are far from perfectly good.

Yes a lot of weight BUT it’s converted to the Supervan 900

Thanks for watching mate, and I am glad that you enjoyed it. Yes, it is unbelievable to see 18 jumpers with gear on board. It carries minimal fuel as dropping zone is nearby. This is a normal C208B Grand Caravan.

It's a 900. I've flown this plane, it's a great machine.

I was also amazed by how many people were packed into such tight space.

GPU receptacle probably spring loaded.

I believe that it is the external power supply, i.e. batteries.

Because it’s a Garret and takes a ton more power to start. Most planes designed with Garrets have two batteries that you can put in series for more starting power.

That thing can hold more than you think, I think 4k LBS. More than you can stuff people into.

Aircraft lighten up by less fuel being carried on board, passengers seats removed, etc...

@@thierrygaillot1980 Yes, not necessary on this one, lots of extra capacity more than they can with the people or the skydivers in this case. Lots of room.

@@JSFGuy No idea what you are trying to say. What I am saying is they are technically legal maximum take off weight wise with all the mods done on the aircraft and the amount of fuel carried on board. That's it!

The pilot lifts the front wheel off the ground at a low speed and holds that attitude. With the further acceleration, the plane will get airborne when it "wants" to get airborne. This way the passengers will have a silky experience and do not have the feeling of aircraft being pulled into air.

Less fuel, no passengers seats, etc...

What HUGE safety concern? Prop is feathered, brakes r locked. In 10 minutes, 18 people jump out of a perfectly good airplane. U still using nappies?

@@Faston The Garrett isn't feathered on the ground like a PT6.
