Cessna Caravan - landing with 47 knots wind!

That landing was so smooth I could barely tell when the wheels touched the ground

Wow. I had to rewind a few times and still cant tell the second you touched down. If the Tower tells you "Nice Landing", then it was an incredible landing. Perfect execution.

Wow , what a landing (nailed the centre line) in such adverse conditions, and the taxi; I've never experienced such violent control movements in winds like that. Thanks for another great video Guido.

In my opinion (which is of debatable credibility, honestly), this is a perfect video. Excellent subtitles and no nonsense. Thank you!

Now THAT is IMC and what a landing in those winds. The video certainly does not end with the landing. Congratulations on the fine job taxiing to parking. GREAT job Captain! !! !!!

My craziest night was training im a 172 at Rwy 25 at 088, night, with a crosswind of literally 340 @ 29, gusting 35. It was full deflection, no flaps with what felt like a 45⁰ crab. Shout out to Chris from PSA, one of the best instructors I've even had (he showed me the true envelope of that little plane). It was too hectic to do touch - and - goes, so I stopped and taxied back each time. Taxiing was almost as difficult because the gusts kept trying to make it feather on the ground. We did at least four or five before heading to the home airport. So much learned in one flight when I was right around 30 hours into my private. Chris K, you're the man!

Your comments about not over controlling in turbulence and letting the inherent stability ride through it is right on. It’s a point that I made and demonstrated to my students in those types of conditions.

Wonderful to see another video from you again Captain - that was an awesome landing! The strength of the wind was very evident with the frequent swift control changes done so expertly - and that you kept the controls full right as you were turning left during taxing! Loved all those extra details you added to the video - from the enlarging of the headings display or thrust, to the chart so that the viewer can better understand the complicated and yet so exciting job that is being a pro pilot (especially when going blind through the whiteout of cloud cover, with only gauges to assist). Thank you for sharing this experience - and may You and the whole Family have a wonderful Christmas Season!
