These are some closeup images I took in my backyard wildflower plot, and at Cypress Gardens. I am constantly awed by the complexity of these small creatures.
I am getting a surprising number of pollinators in my little wildflower plot in the backyard. I did decide to spare ya'll the picture of an assassin bug eating a bee. I hated seeing it, but the predators do help keep their prey in check. Without these checks and balances things can get really nasty.
