Beaver Fever TV news blooper anchors can't stop laughing 

"No one seems to know if the truck driver was suppose to run over the inmate," lol I probably would've lost it too.

I love how the anchor was trying to play off his giggles as a cough and runny nose.

People cracking up and trying to keep it together on live television will never not be just the best thing.

I've had Beaver Fever since I was 12.

I could NEVER do this for a living - once I start laughing, I can't stop...

If the news was always like this, I might actually watch it.

It was determined later that the inmate was supposed to be run over, and in the future all escaping inmates will be run over by dump trucks if possible.

I got a fever and the only perscription is more beaver.

I actually watched the same broadcast news story live back in the day with " Pamela Martin" here in British Columbia.....she really stumbled over the title as well....she actually said " Beaver Fever"

There's also an episode of Angry Beavers called "Beaver Fever", in which Norbert and Dagget become disco stars with their song of the same name.

Dude was trying hard to hold it.

I had this happen once. I was doing a rip and read off the AP wire. A very dramatic story and I was using a very dramatic news voice. Two robbers were hold up in a bank with hostages. They were demanding a plane be made available and to be driven to the airport in a limousine driven by two FBI agents wearing only their undershorts. Pause… and holding it…then even though the studio is a soundproof room, I hear a HA HA HA from outside the room. I got three words of the next story out and it was over.

Both Stories: were Goofy...and it's #HILARIOUS watching the Anchors trying to keep it together!

I think people are reading into this a little too much. I think the male anchor explained it very well. She saying "the plague" so matter of fact as if there has only ever been one kind of plague that has always been present. They didn't know anything else at that point so all she could say was "the plague" its hillareous. They guy was laughing at himself. He had a few seconds delay before he realized what he had just said so serious and stern, "right now no seems one seems to know whether or not the truck driver was supposed to run over the inmate..." i don't even think he was laughing at the trash bag escape. i think he was just replaying the truck driver quote in his head again and again in all its hilarity.
