Man that double stack of Diablo 2 on top left of the dresser along with you talking about Magic is bringing me back to when I was twelve and I would go to my neighbors house and play Diablo 2 and Magic the Gathering. My favorite card was always Jester's Cap mainly bc I liked to rifle through my opponents deck to see what they had as well as remove the most dangerous cards.

BGS doesn’t always grade these. They send back cards unslabbed with a markup sheet all the time.

TOTALLY AGREE!! I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS!! but Rudy you know the worst part? IF you send 100 rebacked cards to BGS (and you smartly send them in "batches") you will probable get back some perfectly graded cards as well! We all know many exist. I never have witnessed a PSA fake card being slabbed, on the other hand. You, Americans buddies, wake up and start using PSA! You'll end up saving too....!

Great video can't wait to see you crack the slab. But in all honesty why would ANYONE pay money for a "graded" (I guess Beckett isn't that well liked) altered card in the first place. Is there a world where people believe an altered card is going to be worth anything? I mean obviously the person bought the card, but has an altered card EVER been worth anything to actual real collectors? I am kind of thinking the person who bought it saw the price and assumed it was worth money just because of the ebay listing alone, and didn't know it was a pile of worthless garbage.

Rudy have we seen any Alpha scams come out Authentic Altered yet? I just got back a whole bunch of alphas I had for grading that I have had for 25 years and 14 came back Authentic Altered and I know I never altered them, been in my safe for almost all that time. So do you think they got wind of this scam and now down-grade everything to cover their ass-ets?

James, that is entirely possible... I'm not going to point fingers or say any names. But there is a guy that makes videos of vintage cards.... that brags about how he graded his own bgs 10 alpha lotus and that there is only 3 or so out there. If i was grading cards and was an avid collector. I'd make sure all my lotus's were 10s. And no more would enter the market...

Would you say a actual beta or alpha mox emerald that has been sharpied is still authentic Rudy, as the card it self is the original just with inking so should be given the title authentic ‘inked’ for example and then the other ones; rebacked etc be listed as fake as they are not even the same card or even from the same set. Also are inked old cards like a alpha or beta moxes even worth something like 50$ rather than thousands?

Hey Rudy... did you happen to look at the 18 bids? Kinda interesting only 3 people bid on that card. the one that ended up winning was back and forth with another guy and then the 3rd one pops in with 1 bid at about that 1750 then back to the other 2 again till it ended. Thought that was interesting. Noticed you said 18 people bid on it and wasn't sure if you noticed this or checked the bids.
