Welcome to Beckwick, a 00 Gauge Southern region exhibition layout built by Beckenham & West Wickham model Railway Club. Beckwick Town is a fictitious location situated in Southern England, some forty miles from London. Set in the mid 1960's, the station is served by steam, diesel and electric power with services to London regularly coming and going.
A short commuter branch also runs to Upper Beckwick which serves the Western side of the town and was originally a double track line. However this was rationalised following the infamous Beeching cuts with only a short stub now remaining.
Beckwick is a wonderful 00 Gauge layout with a very unique look and feel. The busy station and shuttle running up and down the branchline provides plenty of entertainment along the full length of the layout as the trains wind their way through the trees to the station.
