I'm trying to learn writing and graphic design. I intend to volunteer in countries around the world, as a creator of content. But I still do not understand English .. Your comments, helped me to understand more too
Hello Mr Adam, I love your video and I'm also starting out as a freelance travel writer. I had travel the world quite a bit back in the days, plus I love photography. I have been to your country and it's so beautiful I hope and pray that I get back there again and see more of it! Wellington was my favorite part, but I would love to see the outskirts.
hey I know I’m late but I’m a student in an engineering major right now but I know that it’s really not what I want to do. I’m worried everyday for my future but I can’t seem to focus in school too. I’ve always had a flair for English and I’ve always been interested in travelling and meeting new people but I’ve yet to go far since I’m just 18. I wanna capitalise on this by starting somewhere on the road to travel writing but idk how. I would love to be able to do what I really want to do soon which is travelling and sharing my experiences with others
Hey, thanks for watching. I would suggest maybe starting a blog, write about your travels or what ever you enjoy writing about, and share it on the blog. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, but will at least get you writing and you can also start sharing links with your friends and family etc. Good luck.
This was great, I been tryin to find out about "writing looking for a job" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Jeyeyton Riyria Process - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my co-worker got cool results with it.
I keep hearing different sides on how a travel writer should write. Some say it's all about the "first-person perspective" then there are others who say "it's all about location!" and not really about the writer's pov. Which is it? What's the difference?
The simple answer. No, I don't make enough to live on from travel writing alone, so I try to have various sources of passive income from photography, videography, and other paid work.
I really appreciate this video. I was wondering about ways to get started and this provided just the right push I needed. I’ll get started on this today!
This video was so AMAZING. Do you have any videos about how to make your pitch kit for sending to editors? I have a blog and want to start pitching to travel magazines and sustainable resorts and hotels. Thanks so much for your time!
I'm sorry I don't have any those lines but my advice would be to spend some time finding suitable organizations, develop your pitch email with some awesome photographs and start to reach out.
Thanks for sharing this really useful information! We agree that being able to hustle is so important! Nothing is going to get handed to you - you've got to go out there and get it!
RU-vid. Plus a lot of practice. It also really helped to know the sort of photos I wanted for a particular article and then going out to try and get them. Good luck!
Thank you so much I loved your video! I have just started writting about my own adventures and have my first article being published March 2021 in Sup Mag UK
Gentleman,i am from nepal i want to start this travel writer company and i have young partners who wants work for me but i want to write for your company how should i should i contact u.
@AdamConstanza Would you consider doing a video on the different travel writing niches and how to "specialize" in a field of travel writing. For example, yours is hiking. How can I decide on which one is right for me? How do I know if what I'm interested in is profitable/in demand?
