I don't watch Court TV anymore. I watched Vinnie during the Karen Read trial, but refused to watch any other programs on Court TV, especially the programs where the former female FBI agent was on. I can't remember her name, but I can't believe she worked for the FBI. They probably only allowed her to answer the phone.
Mark has been very generous with his time on all these panels during the Karen Read case, he certainly deserves to take a "victory lap" here, even though I am sure he doesn't want to call it that. Whatever you want to call it, thanks to Mike for bringing him on and doing this show.
I love how you interview. Prompting guests with informed questions. You never speak over people. Selective with guests who have something important to discuss.

So happy for Dorothy! Funny story - my husband walked in and asked my 5 yr old grandson what I was doing. He didn’t miss a beat and quickly said “she’s watching that bed-a-grow guy again, you might need to worry”. We both busted out laughing. 🤣
But do you really think Paul O’Keefe would’ve went with an “journalist” that asked him the hard questions? He went with her because he knew she was going to just roll over and let him talk nonsense. And I love how when Karen was out there with her supporters they were putting her down for “it becoming the Karen show and she’s taking pictures and signing autographs”. Then when they blocked the supporters off from being able to access Karen, they say “Karen is avoiding her supporters, blah blah blah” It’s such a ridiculous clown show that if it wasn’t such a serious issue, I would only be able to laugh! An officers death is in question and a woman’s life is on the line…can you imagine going to prison for something you didn’t do and that thing is murdering your boyfriend/an officer?! To top that off, you know that the people that actually did this are corrupt officers affecting and ruining thousands and thousands of lives! I’m so glad that Karen’s team has no quit because neither do her supporters! I’m a Canadian that is currently wearing denim and white, but I really love pink. Just saying.

I am so sorry the DA assisted Dorothy’s husband to continue his abuse after death by victimizing her w/charges. The DA’s horrible actions has opened the door for even further abuse as she now has to protect herself against her husband’s victim’s family. Thank you for your hard work representing her.

Attorney Mark, I watched the day when you were at the trial and met up with David Yannetti 💙 and Alan Jackson. I really hope that they are watching this channel and also the other RU-vidrs that seek out your opinions. I’ve listened to the numerous times that you’ve praised the immense intelligence and skills that Karen’s team most certainly possess but also know that imho, you sir, are right up there with them! I grew up in a town next to Canton until in 1976 my Dad moved his company to Bridgewater and us to the little town of Raynham. You have to remember the defense didn't get discovery until about a year after she was indicted. And then, it wasn't even full discovery. They received the last discovery 1 day before the trial began, AND the prosecution continued introducing evidence during the trial. The defense team had literally weeks to put their partial case together and then they were in reaction mode as the prosecution continued to introduce evidence during the trial. Now, they have ALL the "evidence". Now they can put their full, complete case together and clobber the F out of the prosecution case. That's why I don't think prosecution will retry.

I was a law enforcement detective for 30 years and my speciality was domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and elderly abuse. After retirement, I was the director of a non-profit that provided free services for domestic violence victims. I can reasonably state that law enforcement is not taught about what trauma does to victim's recollections and their subsequent reactions to that trauma, so law enforcement then believes victims are not true victims because they did not respond like law enforcement believes they should respond. Law enforcement is taught to put a bandaid on everything through arrest, which is the quick fix, and then move on to the next call. Even after 30 years of working with victims in the law enforcement field, I did not understand the complicated dynamic between victims and offenders until I started providing services to victims. If we are to eradicate domestic violence, law enforcement must first be taught how to understand victims and offenders and that ever-changing dynamic and provide early intervention by pointing them in the right direction for assistance.
The CW is just using these people as puppets. Paul included. He is still on probation I think for a drinking and driving accident where a man ended up in a wheelchair. Karen bonded him out. He blew Karen a kiss too when she was being sectioned. Paul’s wife even scolded him it appears. This is getting way too messy.
@Mazza Media they not only could have watched and got an idea of how a juror would vote but they also had each jurors notes that they had to leave at the courthouse every night and weekends. Things that make you go hmmm

Bederow would be an ideal addition to the team if Jackson doesn’t come back (which seems likely). He watched a lot of the trial so is able to add strategy from an outside and spectator’s perspective. I mean this with no disrespect to Paul O’Keefe or any member of Johns family…however he said they figured it all out within an hour of Karen being released from hospital because she didn’t stick around at johns house & told Erin she probably wouldn’t see them again. Well Paul can be given some grace because he wasn’t in receipt of the all the facts at that time. We know Jen McCabe & Kerry Roberts had been in contact with Peggy O’Keefe so the whole ‘I hit him’ narrative had probably been mentioned. Peggy (who is no wallflower) had made her opinion of Karen known…’and she just LEFT him there???’ BUT…once Paul was in receipt of further evidence, for example the FBI toughy disclosure…he’s still living in delusion. In his interview, he blames the US Attorney for ‘just listening to the defense’ & not consulting with the commonwealth…and apparently he’s going to confront him about that 🤦🏻♀️ Paul is just delusional. Who told him that? ADA Lally? I honestly think he needs to arrange that meeting with the FBI and actually listen to how they got involved, why they got involved and what they uncovered. Whether that will change his mind…who knows? I think the McAlberts have done a good job infiltrating the O’Keefe family and making themselves indispensable to them, by helping out with the kids etc…that nothing will change their minds right now. They’re deluded and brainwashed. This is far from over.

Once convinced of a lie it is scientifically proven that it is very difficult, almost impossible to let go of that lie even when presented with direct evidence! I have seen families so angry and bitter when a falsely convicted innocent man is let go and the true culprit arrested. They say things like “He must have still been involved with her death!” or “I don’t care about this new convict- I KNOW the first guy really did it!” A few say “well I’m really confused because it couldn’t be both of them.”
I just find it odd how Bev made the final jury list private! She claims it’s due to fear of harassment…makes me wonder if that’s why she allowed the fake harassment to be brought up? We all know the door wasn’t opened! The fact that they refused to show the defense numbers being pulled from the jury pot that day as well was very strange to me. I do not trust any of them to do the right thing. After everything we saw you’d think they would go out of their way to be transparent yet we’re seeing the opposite.
Wow. Didn't realise that. That's not good, the defence should have been there for pulling the numbers. This judge, attitude and behaviour made me cross. It was so frustrating.
??? QQQ I heard one of the officers say that they followed the tow truck to the Sally port… wouldn’t there be a recording of that on their DASH CAM-thus showing the condition of the tail light. The fact that nobody photographed it as it was used as primary evidence at the time of entering the sallyport is just unbelievable. Such poor documentation also what about the tow truck driver? There was one honest cop who stated it was pretty much in tact when he saw it prior to going to the Salleyport. This is just so effed up. We’re spending so much time on this crazy mess. thank you.🦊
Yeah wasn’t that was Proctor (and I think Yuri) that said they met with the other cop **who testified that the taillight wasn’t completely broken** and supposedly followed the tow truck.
When you speak about people who believe KR is guilty (including Paul O'Keefe), the recurring theme is that NONE of them, not one of them, ever gives any cogent reason for their decision. None of them offer any rationale for their stance.
Mrs O’Keefe is the one that told Jen McCabe to get with Carrie and get their timelines straight! To me that seems like a weird thing after finding out your son was killed. That would’ve been an hour or two after he died! It sounds like she was already putting it into Mrs. O’Keefe‘s head that Karen is the one that killed him. That combined with their weirdassumption that she’s guilty by her behavior that day. If we could really lay this out in a timeline that wasn’t spread over 2 1/2 months and see minute for minute what was happening that first day I think it would all fall into place.
If you listen to the full length cleaner version of the 911 call Jen McCabe says 3 things of great interest- 1. She says “the guy” just like Matt did in his text msgs in reference to John 2. In response to being asked if she has any idea what could have happened she replies that “they had been out drinking and HE got out of the car 3. You can hear her already trying to plant the idea that Karen hit John to the operator. Jenn says “I think she may have…” as she gets cut off by the operator asking her a question to which she replies “…maybe a couple of hours”! Those aren’t necessarily in order but aside from her oddly calm manner of speaking they are the things that stand out to me. In court she also said that she was standing outside at the back of the suv they were in. Imo that’s another lie because there aren’t any wind sounds in the call AND she would of had to have been in the suv for the other phone to record the call that was heard in court because it was in the floorboard of the backseat where Karen dropped it AND you can hear the windshield wipers in the call! I also remember Jenn testifying that she called Kerry while she was taking John’s parents to the hospital and that Jenn wanted to check on Peggy. I would bet anything that that call early on the 29th was Jenn planting the seed in Peggy’s mind that Karen had hit John and left him for dead in the snow the night before.
On 1/29/22 at 5:15pm, Brian Albert called Jen, then Jen hung up that call & immediately called Kerry, who hung up after 8 minutes of interview prep when she arrived at Jen's house to answer questions for the MSP. From the next room, Jen called Nicole for 27 minutes as she was listening to Kerry's interview, texting the group chat, "She's telling them EVERYTHING!! I love it!!!"
They did the same thing accusing Melanie little of having something going on with Alan Jackson. Absolutely ridiculous. Grant started that one and the the gang tries to run with it.
Judge Bev must have told the jurors to wait before they spoke, maybe some sort of gag order? I find it over the top strange that they have not spoken out! The judge in the Chad Daybell's case told the jurors they were free to speak, however if they wanted to get paid they would have to wait 90 days. I thought that was strange, is he allowed to do that?? Would Judge Bev be allowed to do the same??? Attorney Bederow is a classy guy.
Listening to Mr Bederow only confirms my belief that he would have done a much better job than Jackson. Simple and straight to the point. Best way to go
I use to watch them daily and participate in the Chat. I was very disappointed in Joel with the Read case and his immaturity. Also, everyday he complains about trolls. If it’s that hard on him then he needs to stop the podcast. He also insults TB for being a blogger but he is a journalist. Joel thinks he is big stuff now and it’s sad 😢

You give the Defense evidence and afew mintues or hours. They are good. You give the Defense a Trial with the Procutions witnesses & their evidence. The Defense is GREAT & will only strenghten their Case proving KR innocent. 😊

I do think that they chose the jurors to leave because they knew they were Karen read supporters because I actually believe that's why they have them leave their notebooks behind in the basket reader notebooks and you automatically know which way they're going
Wow! Never thought of the notebooks! Of course no one is supposed to look at those, but I do not trust ANYONE in that courtroom, (besides defense team,) to not look in their personal notes! The prosecution of parents in Michigan for a heinous shooting crime done by their teenage son is another example of over-reach by prosecutors. Michigan had zero laws about locking up guns. Michigan allowed teens to own guns. It is unethical for prosecutors to over-reach just to punish more people than the person who committed the act.
The other thing no one speaks of is the clear plastic Tully held up. Those 2 pieces of clear plastic will not fit on a Lexus lx570 rear tail light these pieces are to big for that light.

Karen (to my knowledge) never looked at Mr P O’Keefe. On the contrary he glared at her and her attorneys. Mr D Yanetti placed himself to shelter her from his glares. Mr P O’Keefe is on film side eyeing to glimpse Mr Yanetti’s laptop and paperwork. He was also televised whispering to Mr Lally when Mr Lally crossed the courtroom to speak with him. KR did not look at any of the O’Keefe family and did not speak to them.
He was talking about the defense requesting the smaller court room. The decision was made because in the larger court room because three jurors couldn’t see the witnesses.
Yeah he straight up lied! He actually said that she was smirking and staring him down and that he saw things that the camera missed.🙄 He’s delusional and should seriously do some soul searching.
