That was fun! I appreciate your decision to 'keep it real'. People that never post any challenges or bumps-along-the-way seem so sad. I learn much more from my mishaps and how to recover than most successes. Sometimes when I am coloring metal bits I will utilize my assortment of nail polishes. If I want darker colors I will use a toothpick and add dots or lines or smears of black or brown or dark green to the metal. It will dry quickly and also adds texture. Then I use alcohol inks or Rub-n-Buff to finish the projects. So many possibilities. I usually invest in mostly silvertone charms, I can usually make them any color I want. Also less inventory to organize and store. I keep clear spray paint with my craft supplies, just to insure everything is sealed. Winona, I appreciate your Can-Do attitude. You are always so gracious! You inspire me.

Thanks Faye, I didn't think of sealing them. I will have to add clear spray paint to my Walmart list. Thanks for all of your advice I really do appreciate it. Take care my friend, 😊💗💗💗

You make it look easy. I’ve been trying to paint some findings copper. All the paints I purchased last year were fine except for copper, which congealed. Be well, Winona!
