The reason people didn't like 13 as much was because the previous show runner quit and the quality of the scripts took a nosedive for the entirety of her run.
One of my favorite parts of Dr. Who is the occasional, but absolutely epic speeches. For example, you will notice that at the end of the "Dr. Who background" they used the statement, "If you happen to be up against the Dr., there's only one thing you can do: Run." This is a two part joke. The first part was a "throwaway" line where the humans did something bad to the aliens, and The Doctor said "Next time I'll just tell them to Run!" Later, he regenerated into the next iteration (The Eleventh Doctor) and an alien race was going to blow up the planet. When he stood before him he said this: "Okay. One more [question], just one: is this world protected? You're not the first to have come here. Oh, there have been so many. And what you've got to ask is, what happened to them? Hello. I'm the Doctor. Basically. Run."
So the doctor sometimes revisits past faces and for the 60th he regenerated back into David Tenant as the 14th doctor and will be regenerating again after the 60th into 15th doctor, this was honestly the perfect time to do this battle
if you think this is contentious wait until you find out they actually nerfed the doctor a LOT to match rick in a few instances. Like his access to the glory which makes him the single strongest death battle contestant EVER- yes even above superman.
If the doctor was going balls out, he could look into the heart of the TARDIS, become the vengeful god and remove Rick, mind body and soul, from every second in existence.
Favorite Doctors are Peter Capaldi the 12th doctor and 2nd doctor Patrick Troughton but my favorite season is season 6 with the 11th doctor because who doesn't like fighting conspiracy aliens with Nixon during the moon landing and putting Hitler in a closet
The death battle forces both oppotnntes to be bloodliusted as such it dosnt really matter if one is mroe murder happy then other, also as said Doctor can do murder he just prefers peace when there is that option. i had whole other comment posted but it didnt load and now i forgot what i wanted to say. Either way yea the Doctor is pretty great it does dip really hard in quality once the female doctor hits but i think rest of the show is worth watching imo since it does have some amazing episodes the Satan episode and the one where Tardis get a body are pretty amazing. Doctors whole thing is the struggle with being this omnipotent god and the humans and humans who are so fragile he just sometimes fails to save them, he dosnt want to be a monster but he does have his moments of weakness The problem isnt that Doctor who becomes a girl, well maybe for some the issue is that its bad in terms of story, heck i prefer female protags, female doctor is just meh, its hard hard being comapred to others doctor who just radiated energy or were genuine fans of the show themselfs so i can see why people might not be into female doctor.
She just doesn't have the presence of the Doctor. You can actually find multiple incredibly emotionally moving speeches for each modern Doctor. jpdie is the only one who has none. how. What a fail.
You asked what kind of show Doctor Who is and it's basically all of them and if at first you don't like it go to a different doctor, everyone has to find the doctor that hooks them. I would recommend the episode Blink and if you like it go back to the start of the 9th doctor. Basically while Rick and Morty are based on Doc Brown and Marty, the show is much more a parody of doctor who. As the doctor is Rick but if he cares too much
Of course a reactor would say were all equal 😂 no others have more and less to live for and to provide some people could and would save your life just to say they did others maybe not at all
