Those look great. I liked the natural edge, too. I have that same issue with the leather exposed sole area on half-sole boots. May need to try this. Are the uppers painted or is this like Chromexcel? Chromexcel doesn't look as great to me now that I'm more used to all veg tan, oiled, and waxed leathers.
Not CXL. Just some overly corrected super thin chrome tanned leather. Zero pull up. You can even see the shoe tree pushing out the side of the vamp. Super thin stuff. Comfy but not good quality. Think of something more like a sneaker. Zero arch support, which is my main problem with them now.
