The explosive final of the Moonlight Sonata (3rd Movement) by Beethoven in my arrangement for piano and orchestra, performed tonight in the Great Hall of Gewandhaus with over 2000 people!
Here is also the 1st movement from the same concert: • Beethoven - Moonlight ...
The concert was conducted by Maestro Michael Zukernik, together with Philharmonische Orchester Berlin, performed by me - Georgii Cherkin.

The video was captured by my iPhone, so the quality is not professional, but is quite good IMO. I hope you enjoy that kind of emotion and adrenaline of the fast and furious 3rd movement of the Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven.

You’d go absolutely crazy if it was Britney Spears but for this I’d be paralyzed because this piece is infused with a lot of emotions that human being’s can’t process!

@@Augustprincess24 Yup. Their nerves are not intact because of the shit food, today's system of life etc,, but I won't go deep into this right now. Sadly and funny it is that people have become persons of the government, and listening to this type of music is not made by the government, but by a legend, and his music will revive over and over again!

Thought I had commented already; but on listening again this morning it seems Georgii has put all sophisticated oiled machines to shame with his lightning scales and arpeggios. Even the smooth sound of his favourite BMW engine can't compete.

Thank you very much! Yes it is quite difficult and requires a lot of concentration, it only because of the piano playing but also to listening to the orchestra and pay attention to be always together in exact rhythm.

Repitethon Yes, originally it was written for solo piano, but I had a great passion to do this arrangement, especially for such great halls with more than 2000 people listening. I thing that with orchestra it sounds really majestic.
