I was 4 years old when Beetlejuice came out in 1988. I'm been waiting for a Beetlejuice sequel since the 1990's. Danny Elfman is also returing for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. I can't wait to see this movie in September.

What makes you think that a classic movie needs a sequel?? I don’t understand why fans don’t use their brains more and consider that doing sequels is a bad idea

Don’t count on it. I’m so sick of them making unnecessary sequels to classic movies… and what’s even worse is that stupid fans just mindlessly want them without considering that they might be bad. They just want more sequels for the sake of having more. People are so stupid! I love the original Beetlejuice but I don’t want this movie, it’s completely unnecessary and a huge risk of being garbage

Charles the father is the one who dies because they weren't going to ask Jeffrey Jones back since he's a sex offender, and it's gross so I don't recommend anyone looking it up. Also the actor who played Otho died in 2010 so unfortunately he won't be back either. Alec Baldwin is having his problems due to what happened on the set of Rust, but then again over the years he's talked negatively about Beetlejuice 1988 so he probably wouldn't have wanted to come back. Which leaves Geena Davis probably not making an appearance unless it's something special towards the end of the movie.

No, Geena Davis said in an interview that she won’t do a Beetlejuice sequel because her character is dead and ghosts don’t age, she’s right about that

@@nsasupporter7557 - Since Tim Burton is set on doing it all practical effects (and I applaud him for that) they probably wouldn't use the de-aging technology on Geena Davis so she could come back, but that would have been something they could have done to get her back for one last appearance. There's all kinds of creative things they could have come up with, even just using her voice after telling us that both her's and Alec Baldwin's characters had moved on to a better place. Then again I think she is retired.

@@AndrewSnarls well her career has never really the same after the film Cutthroat Island. It was a massive flop and considered one of the worst movies ever made it pretty much ruined her
