So glad you offered Auri some PPE and are talking about it on your channel! Wearing PPE can be a "personal choice" until that person transfers bed bugs to the hotel they're staying at or to the next group of people they visit with. Sigh.
I had horrible bedbugs after my daughter who was visiting me when moving from her state to mine went to stay at a motel that was infested. It really took its toll on me financially and mentally. It also took a toll on our relationship. This is not how to do things. PPE is a must!❤
@@mwilliamson3989I had to deal with bedbugs once from a roommate. They are horrible and so hard to get rid of!!!! PPE should have been worn, or she should have declined helping. They latch onto anything
1). God bless you, you are an amazing soul. 2). Bed bugs can live a year without feeding, so tying your luggage up in garbage bags for weeks won’t do anything at all if they got in there. I would suggest putting all of the clothes in a garbage bag when you get home (in your yard, not while in the house), throwing the clothes immediately in the washer and then the drier (the drier kills them) and tossing the luggage in the trash. 3). Bed bugs are immune to all known pesticides that exterminators use & an honest exterminator would’ve told you that. The only thing that can kill them is using an industrial heat pump in the home, as they can’t survive above certain temperatures… unfortunately neither can electronics, so if you remove electronics from the house, there’s always a chance a bed bug or two caught a ride on it & the infestation could start up again. *Im not chastising you, I know you did the best you could, I’m just mentioning this for future reference & more importantly for anyone suffering from bed bugs.*
@@annielooo2798 Yes that’s ideal, but putting dry clothes in the drier can ruin clothes, so it’s recommended to wash it first if your priority is saving the clothes… if however you’re willing to risk it, which most people with bed bugs likely are, yes, just throw the clothes immediately in the drier.
Bedbugs CAN be killed. By 91% alcohol and a steamer will kill the eggs. Just saturate all the seams on your mattress and do the box springs anywhere and everywhere. Then let it dry, about 30 to 60 minutes, and run your steamer everywhere there could be eggs. I promise you, it may take a while, depending on how bad the infestation is, but it can be done.
I feel like it's not an exaggeration to say you've changed lives. Maybe even saved them. I've always been lucky enough to have a support system but even with that i have gotten to dehumanizing levels of filth. You're doing an angels work, thank you so so much.
Amazing transformation. Have you ever considered investing in one of those portable heating bags specifically designed for killing bedbugs? You basically bring your stuff home, pop it into the bag, and it basically bakes any potential bedbugs/eggs to death by keeping the items at a consistent heated temperature for a period of time. Unfortunately a few weeks in a garbage bag isn't enough, since bedbugs can live for 6-12 months without food.
The problem is Auri might be making that personal choice to spread bacteria, bed bugs and other harmful things to other places she visits. I had to unfollow her because it was infuriating watching her blatantly disrespect the reason and need for PPE, and it’s not just for herself.
I noticed auri didn’t wear PPE in some of her videos when she is clean places where she should, this explains why but I feel like it would be safe to wear ppe.
God bless you, 🙏🏻 When my daughter was murdered in 2018 i completely shut down im just now starting to live again😭💔It took me two months to clean my house 🩷I wish i had help but i Did it🥹 You are truly a blessing 🙏🏻🩷🩷🩷🩷
No one should be allowed to spray for bed bugs. It’s usually not effective and just exposes people to unnecessary pesticides. If you ever have bedbugs, thermal remediation is the only treatment one should consider. Also, bedbug eggs can survive over a year in the right conditions, so seal up a suitcase in an airtight situation and wait maybe 15 months, to be safe.
You're not alone. It made me angry her being so "whatever" about inhaling so many mold spores and god knows whatelse. To me, it totally negates the free cleanings due to the stupid example she sets to millions.
I was always so disgusted watching Auri’s Videos. She jumps onto the piles of garbage with her mouth open smiling. She is now possibly risking bringing back bedbugs into the planes and her home.
Yes, even in the cleanest of homes, using the cleaners she does can be detrimental to your health without proper PPE. I clean too and I can understand PPE being a bit uncomfortable, but you manage the discomfort for your health.
Its amazing how she can clean that… imagine if your mum asked you to “clean the bathroom” This girl is amazing. ~❤Respect❤~ ooo wow! Ty for 45 likes! ❤️❤️
Auri pisses me off ngl, how can you not wear PPE? You’re spreading bed bugs everywhere and endangering your health. It’s like a death wish. I follow on Instagram but not anymore.
That's so awesome that you decided to really get hands on with helping people dealing with these issues. It's easy to sit in an office and tell people to change and what to do but totally different and amazing to actually get in there and help ❤
@@lthem3487 yeah, this isn't about being scared of getting a cold, this is more um inhaling the spores of rat feces and mold that causes massive public health and safety crisis. You know rats, those super chill vermin that are known for being really safe & clean & no big deal. I mean, what...did they cause the plague or something? Come on! 🙄😒
I love cleaning and love a clean room, but im always too stressed with school and never have the motivation to do it, or when i do it easily becomes messy again within a day, do you or anyone else have any advice i could use to help? I hardly ever really have the energy to clean my room either- not to mention it stinks XD
How do you get those kinds of stains out of the toilet? I think it's from the water. I have tried EVERYTHING on my toilet. Several kinds of toilet cleaners and the only thing that sorta worked was a lime and rust remover left on overnight but it didn't get rid of the ring and lines where the water runs into the bowl. I tried it again and it did nothing the 2nd time. I've tried pumice stone and steel wool and those did nothing. Straight bleach helped some but still only lightened it. I've tried bleach tablets in the tank and that did nothing. I've tried just dumping vinegar in there and that helped minimally. I don't know what else to try.
If you have heavy mineral content in your water, it can stain the porcelain. My grandmother's bathrooms were always clean but the toilets had rust stains because of high iron content.
You guys need to get informed and relax. Spraying the items with alcohol will do the trick. You act like it’s a bigger deal than it is. She took more than enough precautions.
My family owns a pest control business and the ONLY way to TRULY KILL put bed bugs is with HEAT. Spraying only makes them dormant for a small amount of time which many exterminators do & then will come bk when they are active again & spray again it’s a costly cycle. To truly kill out bed bugs we lay down a particular grade formula, tent the residence if possible, have the remove any clothing, linens etc (which are to be washed & then on dry cycle high heat twice), have them & any animals stay somewhere for 48hrs, we bring in massive heaters that run for 48hrs (longer depending on size of place but that’s typical for a decent size building). And then 2 weeks after we have done the heat treatment we go bk & inspect then also come bk & inspect in another 2 weeks. Everyone who works at our pest control that goes out to properties either uses the shower, washer & dryer that’s at the office or will also at home have an outdoor shower, washer & dryer so to never bring anything inside. In my area we are one of the only exterminators out of several towns in all directions that will tackle bed bugs bc of all that goes into it to actually kill them. And it’s really frustrating when we come across a family that has Bn giving their money to one that’s just keeps spraying and not actually killing them. I don’t say any of this to be negative just to bring awareness bc a lot of people don’t know this including people who work in the pest control industry (and those who just choose to ignore it to profit from it) so no negativity towards you at all. I really admire what you do. I got my masters in Clinical Psychology and cleaning plays a big role in mental health, so I think you have an awesome spirit & a big heart. Keep up the awesome work!
Auri makes very poor choices, and puts the people that help her at risk. Like “brushing” furniture instead of vacuuming, and letting all the dust fly around without proper masking. Not to mention she uses pads that will take 500+ to biodegrade, instead of mopping like a normal person.
What happens once you clean the house, did you ever check back on them whether they continue keeping it clean or go back the way it was , just curious to know.
Ur an angel walking around in normal clothing!! About 10,years ago- I had my second son and when I went to clean the clutter-I FROZE! I did not know where to start! I started panicking! I basically freaked out! Luckily- my mom came over one day and I told her about my panic. Instead of berating me-- she (like YOU) said , it’s ok honey- we are just going to go to your dresser and take away ONE piece of trash. Which I DID. She said - GREAT job!! Now keep taking away one at a time! I am going to the SAME THING to your bathroom! Within THREE hours- we had cleaned my room, bathroom, kitchen and living room! She taught me that it was ok! When I felt like a failure! ❤❤❤❤ thank you for what you do!!❤❤
I have wondering why you did this, that is a very strong addition to any CBT treatment. Reinforcing the organized visual with counseling to encourage a stronger sense of self control.
The only way to get rid of bed Bugs is with big heat lights. Los Angeles had an outbreak and it’s like these big huge lights come in and it microwaved them and you have to do the neighbors as well.
The harris bed bug powder is great if you leave it for a few days 3 -5 days and vacuum it up and do it for a few months every 3 weeks. And rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle.
You’re an angel. I struggle with my mental health and keeping my room tidy and can empathize how someone would get to this position of being so overwhelmed and sad that they can’t take care of their surroundings or themselves. Injuries, grief, trauma, so much goes into it that isn’t understood by most. You are so sweet and I pray God sends you many blessings your way. Thank you for being such a wonderful, kind, loving person. If you ever wanted to make videos about the psychology and mental health related to cleanliness I would definitely watch those to learn more.❤
Hello, how can I request for a cleaning in London,I been suffering from depression and anxiety I find really hard to keep my house clean, just had a fall so I am not able to do anything like washing, cook or worst clean my house or wash my hair, could you please help me, thanks
Your probably the nicest person ever nc i know how those people feel bc when i was younger i got depressed and kept bringing food into my room then gnats where everywhere then i became horrified off buzzing so i slept in a different room and my mom cleaned it for me being so nice then dad madw me feel so guilty for haveing mom do it bc"you can do it yourself she shouldn't have to do ot for you blablabal" even though mom did it without complaining or asking😢
She ain’t never show the inside of her toilet. How hard that grime was I’m guessing it most likely was cleaned the best it could’ve been but not up to par to show! Overall this was a good azz cleaning!!❤
I do not know where you are from. I love your content. I love what you do. I am willing to pay everything to get you to Iowa, and I will pay you for everything. My Dad grew up in the household that does not address mental health. His house is hoarded so bad. Where is Len when I have seen on hoarders. No cockroaches or bed bugs. Just so much stuff. A pathway to everywhere. Lay in that bed. Please. Help! I will pay any amount. I’ll do anything He’s such a nice guy and does everything else for everyone. We need help. Please! ❤
I have a family member who is currently struggling with bedbugs, and he has sprayed and sprayed and powdered, and nothing seems to work for him. He really needs help.
Downsize and use harris powder and leave the powder all over for 3 days before vacuuming it. Wash everything and dry it on high heat and stay consistent with that for a few months. If the mattress is bad then throw away and use an air mattress or buy a cover for the mattress that seals it and powder and keep on it for 9months. It's fall now but in the summer time you can seal the mattress and drag it in the sun for a few days and it should kill them if you're in a area that gets hot. And rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle will kill them and the eggs so spray it everyday id say all over the areas people are like couch and bed. They CAN go away just stay consistent 👍
@@caitlinjohnny3828 they have replaced furniture and keep thinking they are getting it under control and they are treating it but it has been a very long time like years we’re talking and it just sucks. makes it so hard to be able to help out. It’s my dad that is having a problem and he insists that it’s not that big of a deal but I have major anxiety over it . For him for myself bringing it home. I have babies and I’m terrified. I want to go cook and have regular family things there and clean and I am having to strip down before I can come into my home after being there because it’s so worrisome. I feel like I can’t even bring my kids to see their grandfather.
