Dont listen to the haters EXO, i enjoyed the video and was shocked to see how much the dust cap affected the heat dissipation. Now im sitting wondering replacing my own subs dust cap to improve its heat dissipation, it gets a bit smelly some times.

I am 41. Grew up with computers. I'm a nerd. I love car audio. Turn it up is used WAY more than turn it down. I just realized I could probably sit here with all these random strangers on here and 99% of us or more could just sit here all day or for days talking about car / home audio and not even think twice about it. Not necessarily being from the same area or anything. Just some people who enjoy goofing around with audio of various kinds. Love watching the motivation man. Every video saving my life from all the bad things happening in my life for the last 2 years now and still continuing everyday sometimes. Especially the last years. A car accident in my Yukon Denali and I shattered my left leg shen bone that morning at 6:am ( January 3th 2018 )and then now to finding out my wife of 7 years now has been cheating on me for awhile. So I'm starting the process to start be a parts. I have a 10 yr old son from my first x, a 4 yr old daughter with my soon to be x , and now we separating she saying she is carrying again. So much fun in life lol . Keeping the up beat emotions bout every thing will get better soon.

What I remember from the video is the original dust cap was made of paper and dented very easy that's why you replaced the dust cap after the frequency test

Actually Thats What I Learned from your video, I forgot that it was a ROCKVILLE Sub, what you did helped me save my sundown 18" XV.2 I just reconed it and did not know how big of a difference the dust cap made being off the sub I put the dust cap on and I'm moving more air with no overheating. Hey Man, if the subwoofers can not handle 2000rms clamped..it can't handle it! You did not need to do damage control. Rockville unfortunately overrated the power handling of their last few models of their subwoofers. You took it so easy on that subwoofer.
