It when longer than I expected, but I hope this was useful for those in the market for this car. paddle shifter extension:amzn.to/34EmsaX car sun shade:amzn.to/2D3JEUz
Couple of things. The V6 is 278/256 stock HP/TQ split. Also, the 9G V6s have timing chains, not belts. The J35Z from the 8G had a belt, but the J35Ys have chains
Wrong V6 have timing belts. 4 cylinders have timing chains. Chains are supposedly to last the life of the car buy always inspect it. Timing belt I believe needs to be replaced every 100K Km+ something like that.
Also, the reliability and longevity of Honda’s old 5AT is still better than any CVT. CVTs have been rushed by Nissan (and subsequently everyone else) and were not entirely ready for production imo
Found a 2017 Sport with 30K, only thing is salvage. Saw the pics. it was hit in the front right bumper. Looks like it just took the corner off, along with fender and the bumper and then scratched the side of the car. Airbags deployed and cracked windshield isolated on the passenger side. Seeing it in person-- rebuilt, it's a little noticeable when you see the bumper line and all 4 wheels are a little scratched for some reason. Other than that rest of the car is like new. I decided to go for it, gonna get a pre-purchase inspection before, hoping it works well.
@@ryanscarchannel913 timing belt service is not bad just do it at 90k km, honda recommends at 100k, the dealership package cost 1300$( summer 2022 inflation prices), includes full spark plugs changed, timing belt replacement and inspection of thermostat. I would also recommend to change the thermostat for the extra 300$ because you will save a lot in labour money down the road.
