This is reality of most of the people... But with me, it's different. I left social media, and now I am alone because everyone else is being 'Social' on their phones in their bathrooms...

It’s hard to connect with others when everyone has their face looking down at their phone 24/7

Dear Jay, A week ago today, my eldest son took his own life. He was 22. He was beautiful and smart, but he was also deaf and autistic. We tried everything to help him and show him as much love as we could muster... to get him to see that he could overcome any challenges. But he had already given up in his mind. He did not see a future for himself in our world. To him, life was boring, bleak and without interest. He couldn't see past the darkness, and now he's gone. I don't know if I could have done anything to stop him, but I still wish I had tried harder. Said something that would have eased his pain and shown him that he could have a great future. Now all I am is sorrow.

You must disconnect in order to reconnect ! Love yourself first and the true genuine ones will find their way into your life. Like attracts like. Thanks for the great video Jay 🙏🏽

That's so true. I was depressed for 12 of the 14 years I was married to my first husband. I had had a miscarriage and he didn't seem to care. I them became suicidal. It's just so sad to have to pretend all is well when it's not. I ended up with a nervous breakdown and then tried to end it with pills and booze. Thankfully, the Lord had other plans for me. Thank you for this video.

Ik m late but in 2020 (present year) in March I loose my most important person of my life.....he died .I cried and cried and after that day I began to lose some of my feelings. my only dream is to make everyone happy and pls people pls be happy that you have someone and u have me too! 🙂🙂

So true! Thumbs up for this video. That's what's become of so many of us in the era of Facebook & Co. This craving for "likes", "followers", lots of positive comments, this need for posting "happy", "spontaneous" life moments, the need for constantly documenting one's life, while real friends are scarce or even unexistent, this is THE one big collective disease of the world we are living in today and the surest way to alienation. But even without social media we can be lonely amongst friends. We are that, whenever we are tempted to exhibit a fake life, with the appearence of being happy and fulfilled, while inside we may be facing sadness, frustration and sometimes even hell. Thank you for reminding us of what we need to avoid in order to live an authentic life.

Not every person climb every mountain. It's hard to think how life drowns in every bit of second. Such an amazing creation Mr. Shetty. I hope someday at some point of time people who feel like this (depression) sees your videos and at the least have some pressurisations on how to LOVE yourself and your priorities not forgetting the so called "Quality life" . I lost my father. My mom came to visit us overseas to help us during our pregnancy and birth of first child. he was alone for one year, his appetite and health were inclining. she had her two flights cancelled one in may and another in june because of covid. he died on 20 June 2020 and we did our best to book a flight to see him for the last time but were just hopeless. Our heart broke when we learnt he drove all the way to the hospital, parked his car but couldn't get out of the vehicle due to a heart attack. security noticed him after two hours. please pray for our family and my mother they had a million plans and were eagerly waiting to be united.

As a depression and anxiety sufferer myself, this hits me hard and I just to say this. Please no one ever hide their feelings. Please be honest and truthful.... that's all I ever ask. There's no need to justify if you don't want to. Just let yourself feel and explain it, release it, explore it, and process it because it's what makes us alive and well. To those who judge and ridicule, you are doing no favours to help this - not because you're being mean or inconsiderate, but more concerning, you're adding to the misery and therefore risk of injury and harm. If you truly care about humanity and life, you would be peaceful and, if it's difficult to do so, acknowledge the difficulty to help yet still make some effort to try and understand and respect... not the person or the issue... but life itself. Peace and harmony itself. True happiness itself. To everyone out there suffering, I hear you and I understand how you're feeling. I may not understand every situation but it's always the same goal - I want everyone to find peace of mind, safety and healthy and general wellness. No more wars. No more destroying our own lives and or destroying other people's lives. We thrive together.

Hearing this change me in ways that have over the years been instrumental to me seeking positive experiences. Although I still struggle at times I get joy from sharing this quote when ever I can.

We always pretend to be happy but deep inside we are suffering from loneliness, I realized that we need to be true with ourself, if we feel pain, we should not run from it because it will haunt us later on. We should not judged ourself if we are feeling down because sometimes, it's okay to be not okay.
