My life was boring into I got a phone. My parents don’t really have money to go out and do stuff, and my parents don’t let me go places with my friends. Even though I am wasting my time on RU-vid and shit like that, its better than wasting my time on nothing. Without my phone, I wouldn’t be able to contact my friends. Also, I wouldn’t have music.

Before you scroll further. I'd like to tell you that you didn't get the point discussed in the video. You are still scrolling for no good reason. And don't ever get addicted to motivation. You think you are different than others coz you watch a lot self improvement stuff but in reality it's same as wasting your time on social media. So I highly implore you to go implement what you learned from good videos and don't use it just as an alternative to social media. It doesn't matter who I am to tell you. Take this as a reminder from your soul.

This is so true, but a person's thoughts start with themselves. I have always loved the time alone I spend, reading books, and thinking, just thinking about things. I have a cheap phone, I never get on the internet with it. I do use my computer at home, but I spend time with my family and friends. I like just sitting and talking. My sister got cancer and died 3.5 years ago. I miss her. But I am so thankful, we spent a lot of time together, just talking. I would not trade that for all the newest technology or smart phones in the world. I like looking around when I am out and about in the world because there may be someone who needs a smile, a word of kindness and a helping hand, which can only be seen if you are looking at the folks around you.

My only reason for being a lot of time online is my boyfriend who lives many kilometers away from me. When we met there was nothing else than him and me. Travels, chilling at home,talks, walks,nature,friends... Who needs technology to entertain themselves when the most important things in this world are right next to us? I am so glad that I watched this video before scrolling down, I am also trying to limit myself, slowly I am thinking of using less cellphone because it is keeping me away from the people I love, recently I deleted my Facebook, and I also turned off notifications for Twitter and Instagram so that I can spend more time with my family because not long ago my friend's mother died and that made me realize alot of things like how this technology is distancing us from what truly matters in life.

No. That's exactly why you made this fake deep video about how everyone who uses a phone for longer than 1 hour or something is suddenly addicted to it. I have dealt with addiction, and I should tell you- I lost so much weight because of my phone. But now I'm in a perfect weight suddenly- not because I use my phone less, it's because was _young._ Yes. Young people just discovered technology so thats why they wanna experience everything on the internet. Now that I'm older, I understand everything. I can say "afk" or "brb" and go eat my meal. Anyone can. So you can stop talking about this addiction or some stuff, because actual addictions are when you're skipping meals just to be on you phone, not when you use it for a big portion of the day. I have a girlfriend who lives in Slovenia (I live in Croatia, we're not that far apart and she's visiting for Christmas ♡) and we talk everyday! But it's because we love eachother and want to interact with eachother.

My life was so bad I would be hit by my abusive father and take me all day to stupid places like the super market but when my mom left my dad and when I got my first phone my life became better not perfect but better

Jay, what is the difference between watching this and scrolling down? Not to say that whatever you're saying is wrong but a lot of your videos are similar and people will be coming back for that instant gratification they get by watching your video. For example, I get a sense of accomplishment from watching your videos but it ends there. Afterward I watch other productive videos but it becomes a loop. Is there a way for this to stop? I love all your vids and am a huge fan. I just wanted to know if there is an answer to this problem I face.
Sabir Khan hey im no expert, but maybe what he means by this and other videos, is just to put down your phone and reflect on your life. After that, take action to do something productive instead of picking up your phone again. I've had the same problems you have and I really wish you success!
Bro... Exactly the same question I was having in ma mind few months ago... There is no so called solution, instead, let's call it as living in reality. Motivation doesn't work unless you work on it. By the way, I do say , and stress out on one line that... Being disciplined do a lot favour than being MOTIVATED..!! It's the truth. When you're disciplined, everything falls into place. Seems harder in the beginning, but you'll enjoy the result in a short period. You'll have to suffer being disciplined, but rest assured, you'll land to great deals in life. Just yesterday I had 2 ladies and 2 teenagers in front of me walking extremely slowly. I thought to myself sarcastically could this group walk any slower? It turned out each and every single one of them was texting or checking social media. Please don't walk and text. It's disrespectful to the people walking behind you or worse in front of you. You are zig zagging and making the person in front of u stop to see if u are finally going to walk to the right or the left, so that they can finally decide to walk either left or right themselves.

Pradevi Tia Calmly explain to the person that spending time scrolling through social media won't help you guys build a genuine connection. Tell the person to keep his or her phone away and do something fun together.
I changed my smartphone with old keypad phone from I can only call ....it feels so good I mean I don't wanna see what's going in other people lives ....just focus on mine 🙏

U know this’s so true and it puts me in tear after I watch this as my relationship has changed coz of my partner mostly spend time on his phone most of the time and it just never ending!! Not to blame on him but it just makes me feel how can we these day spending a good quality with some one we love, some one we care about if we only just focus on thing that not even important for us and why don’t we look at thing in front of us instead of wasting our time on something that not even worth for!! It’s so sad to know that people has change from time to time but from better to worse!! :( I hope it won’t happens again between us!!
