I've been doing this workout for 3 weeks 3 times per week, during the first two weeks I couldn't do more than 1 round, last week I managed 2 rounds and today I just finished my first 3 rounds. Thanks a lot, your voice helps me get through each round.
Been doing this for a month along with a kettlebell workout, down 30 lbs. Long way to go but a great H.I.I.T. Workout. Took 2 weeks to work up to 4 sets. But the results are motivation
Hi Adrian! I started my fitness journey back in February. I weighed 220 pounds. The gym I attend has battle ropes and I thought this video would be perfect for me. It was really hard at first because I was very overweight and out of shape. Fast forward to today, I actually haven’t done this workout for a over a month. I decided to do it today and wow, I am less tired!! Btw, I am now 179 pounds! Thanks for this video, it really helped aid in my fitness journey!
Adrian, I have been overweight my whole life. I started your workouts yesterday and I’m alternating battle ropes and your bedsheet technique. I have never sweat this hard and felt so good at the same time. Please keep making videos
Been doing this video's battle rope routine at LEAST 3 times a week, along with my other lifting and such and I have lost almost 10 pounds in the last 35 days. This WORKS if you DO it! Thanks again!
The ropes are durable and just like the ones at the gym. ru-vid.comUgkxTFxba6lNeHrZaHoY_LXe6ZzmMfaipnwu Caution: I bought the 50 feet ropes and they are long and heavy so make sure you have the space (I do have the space). If I was to do it again I would probably get a shorter version as 50 feet (25 feet each side) is a little long.
everyone needs to go through one of these workouts before they get on facebook to start crap. I vote this guy and this workout as the key to peace between all people. sweet video. sub!
This is one of the better battle rope workout videos on RU-vid! I love that he encourages you throughout the video. Not to mention the preview video in the corner is massively helpful. Thanks for the video man, I’m looking forward to getting more battle rope workouts in my routine.
I always make sure to watch the ads on this guys channel. I do for others but sometimes it's just so long... But this guy helped me so much so I make sure to watch every ad.
Omg!! I want to lose 30 pounds by October and I always admire people that tackle on these battle ropes. I got some! Everytime I said "I can't " your video says dont tell me you can't... you are right harder I try the faster I lose.. Thank you!!
Thanks for the video. I watched it once before I hit the gym and said 20 second intervals ain't 💩. I was humbled quickly once I got started! Definitely incorporating the "beginners" video into my workout. I am scared to see intermediate or expert ☠☠
Just bought a battlerope on Amazon and mentioned this video. I watch and execute this workout almost everyday. It is the best, thanks for kicking my ass every day Adrian!
Just got my Battle Rope today and did this workout. Thank you for kicking my ass today. And thank you for posting this video. Once I have this one down… it is on to your advanced ones.
Just stumbled across your video and had to save it. Just got my ropes last week and its been staring at me every since. This has motivated me to get started. I have to lose 30 lbs in 2 months. Lord give me strength...but this definitely looks like it'll help immensely.
This is how you make a video both instructive and entertaining. Simple method and high intensity. I own a battle rope for so long and have never seen a workout that simple and efficient. Thanks for this video, you have now a new subscriber. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Just got home with my battle ropes and this was the first video that came up. Absolutely perfect for me. I did 3 sets and I’m done but will certainly return. Thank you so much for the brilliant video and your motivational words throughout! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This was my first work out in a loooong time! I thought I was going to die after the first round but extended the rest period to 2 minutes and was able to get it done. 💪🏽 Looking forward to continuing to get faster. Thanks for putting out such good content!
Man, this video has been a lifesaver. I had been looking for some fitness motivation for a while before I finally found this. Made it through twice my first time, but needed a 5 minute break in-between. After a few weeks of doing this routine 5-6 days a week, I was able to complete the routine 5 times with only the minute of rest in-between. Now I'm down 20 lbs from where I started. And that's with taking about 6 weeks off during COVID! I appreciate it!
Adrian's examples are great... "Imagine it's someone you don't like... throw em back and forth, don't give em a chance to get up".... with that motivation in mind, I'll have about 5 productive years with this exercise
Here I am at the gym on a Saturday night and I’m just wanting to try ropes. I don’t know but one exercise with them. Lol! I RU-vid workouts with ropes and i am so thankful I found this video! I was feeling so unmotivated but so happy I ran into this! You are awesome!
My husband and I just ordered a 1.5" 50 feet battle rope. We never used them before. Watching this is life. My husband is looking to lose weight and tone, and I'm looking to gain weight and tone. I also just purchased a 20 pound slam ball too.
Ty for the video and motivation. Bought my ropes. I use it every other day. My second time dealing with cancer and trying to beat it again. I go at my pace but I get it done. God bless
Wow this is added to my favorites and I'll be doing this slowly into my routine. Today was day 2 and I feel cramped, but I love the pain. I cnt wait for tomorrow 😩
Oh my goodness. I love this workout. Battle rope is new to me but I’m not necessarily new to fitness. I love this workout not only because it’s challenging but his encouragement is so helpful. He says “don’t stop” like every time I am thinking how I can’t last another second lol!!! Thanks for this gem, it’s EXACTLY what I need!
My ropes got delivered earlier today and I already completed this routine. I'll admit that I needed more than 20 seconds rest between each one. I'm new to exercising and this was quite a challenge for me but you have to start somewhere. Since I am a beginner and close to 300 lbs I plan on trying to do this 3-4 times a week.
I love this, love the voice over, love the moves, love the motivation u give!! Just got my first battle ropes for my home gym and can't wait to try this.
Just bought battle ropes and these are all amazing exercises. I’m so glad I ran into this video. You got yourself a subscriber and I’ll be checking out your other videos. Great content!
i know this video is old, but i’ve been so intimidated by battle ropes at the gym and these demonstrations + motivating talk got me excited to try them next time i’m at the gym! i’m ready to try it and get better over time!
Bruh you just gave me a new routine! Been rolling it up pushing it out-of-the-way, doing other things, walking past it. I've been meaning to get to it, now I am!
I did this for my first work out ever for the battle ropes. I added top and bottom jumps and just straight up jumps. Thanks Adrian! I got a good work out!
Thank you for showing all types of exercises with the ropes. In the gym I go to the handles on the ropes are too thick but I'll manage, I must manage . Respect that you did all these exercises in one video! ☺
Before 1st cycle: Ok, here we go Before 2nd cycle: Alright, this is pretty exhausting Before 3rd cycle: OH GAWD PLEASE END ME! Before 4th cycle: I'm tired af, but I gotta finish After 4th cycle: YEEEEESSSSS! I AM A CHAMPION! Thanks, brother. This really helps
my first time doing battleropes tonight at the gym, as they've installed them. I have picked three of those types , otherwise I'll forget them.I prefer these old school workouts.
Your workout videos are such an awesome format. The narration you provide helps keep me informed on how to do the exercises and keeps me motivated. Its amazing no other youtube workout videos really do that.
Just bought some ropes today at Ross they were on sale and this exercise came up first so I tried it and you kicked my butt thoroughly enjoyed this thank you so much I’m gonna be following you
yes me and hubs and my 3 yr old just did this And omg my son LOVED IT I like that we only have 1 battle rope and can STILL workout together thank you so much for this! daughter 5 months trying to get the last of the baby weight off yes thank you!
The alternative be e exercises make me feel comfortable doing at home too. The imagery you give for us to imagine while performing the exercises really helps me visualize what to do and helps me enjoy the move. Thanks!!
I need you to make a workout playlist with your instructions throughout! your instruction and commentary is soo motivating for those who wont have a trainer and what not!!
I saw someone using the ropes at the new gym I joined and wanted to learn how to use them. that is how I found your videos. Love your sense of humor style of motivation! I did this workout today and my arms were aching like crazy. I did step exercises for the rest of the workout. I also saw your intermittent fasting video and am trying to get into the routine of it. I am very optimistic about losing weight. Thanks for the awesome videos!
What a GREAT video!!! I just set up my battle rope in back yard and can't wait to try these exercises. Very very well demonstrated and explained. I could do without the voice commentaries but I do understand why it was done so that's just me. The guy doing the exercises in the video did such a great job and you can really see how much these simple exercise can kick you ass if done correctly. So well done and explained!!
Ive just tried this for the first time, loved it, will be doing it 4x per week hopefully will be able to do 2 rounds in a few weeks. Need to get my arms toned afyer losing 3 stone 🎉
played around with battle ropes but havent had a full workout before for it. gonna tag it on the end of my leg workout for some tough ass cardio that isnt a treadmill, which is just not fun after legs, or rowing machine, which just bores me. Thanks for this one.
Hey Battle Coach, my other Coach (my Husband Coach Greg) bought these battle ropes a few weeks ago and they are tough! I recruited you in this area of my workout and it has been awesome. I started weight loss in November from 241.2lbs down now 221.3, slow but steady. Working on muscle tone too. I haven't quite worked up to 3 reps but I'm working on #2 right now. Thanks again for the motivation and workout!
I've never done Battle Ropes but want to start. Mainly, I like the idea of a portable piece of exercise equipment I can keep in my trunk and set up virtually at any playground or park. This is a very well-thought-out tutorial----simple description of the exercise, timer, modified version shown. Everyone I know who has done ropes says it's much harder than it looks but the results are fantastic. I'm looking forward to it---motivated already!
I've been looking for a low impact ass kicking exercise. As others have mentioned, I appreciated the seated position perspectives. Bad knees! Thanks so much!
