Beginner's Guide to Ghost Recon: Wildlands (+11 Bonus Tips!)

Wildlands is exactly what I've been waiting for in a shooter all my life! Seriously it action packed the story is great i completely love that the customization is already made available for you character and u dont have to spend the whole game looking for shit, i love that its open world and if i dont feel like playing online i can free roam in the world and get into thing's, love the weapons and love that scenery, love that i can choose what i want to do and when i want to do it & how im gonna do it.... This is what i want in games no fake unbelievable bullshit no moon boots and flying around on walls just real life good old fashion gun fighting. I hope wildlands keeps!!!! making sequels, ill always buy them. Cant wait for wildlands 2!!! Good job!

I know I'm a few years late to the party but a trick that I found for dealing with large enemy bases in single player is using the hold position to your advantage. Set up your team in a nice hunkerdown area on the other side of the base where they have a good view of the battlefield and then infiltrate the base from the opposite side. When you start to engage if you feel like you're about to be spotted tell your team to go loud and they will draw all the fire to them. Most enemies will then cover from the direction the fire's coming from leaving in almost every single one of them completely open for you to just pick off. And if you have a suppressor they won't notice a damn thing until it's already too late. Also the sink shot work in this instance too. As long as your team can see the enemy from the side they're standing on they can perform sync shots perfectly.

If you’re in single player and your team is far away you can leave in the vehicle and they’ll spawn in it

If you are chasing down convoys with cars, something has gone terribly wrong. Track convoys with a chopper, determine an ambush point 500-1km ahead of them in the road and create a roadblock (until alerted to danger, convoys will stop indefinitely at the slightest of interruptions in their route, i.e. a car parked in the road) Ideally your ambush point should have good perpendicular sight lines at the supply truck's driver (that is, through the side windows, typically the windshield is bulletproof). Snipe the driver, switch to grenade launcher and take out the support vehicles (the ones full of guys with guns) and their support chopper if they have one, and try and keep your AI team out of it if you can help it, they tend to blow the s*** out of the supply truck trying to shoot the support. This will carry you easily into where you can train C4/EMP drones for more sophisticated ambushes.

i remember after watching Netflix's Extraction 2020 i was itching to play a game with similar vibes to the movie so i had to ask and search around the web as i was never really into these types of games most of my life so i had no clue. Thank you so much for this awesome guide. I JUST downloaded this game yesterday and got it all properly installed. I’m playing on pc but using an Xbox controller. The graphics are amazing and I love how you can either sneak or go all out. Only thing about going all out is if they call for backup it’s going to make attacks come from all directions. Also the purple guys suck... I’m glad to know I need to invest in the Granada launcher. As shooting the guys in the helicopters was possible but not easy.

Theoretically you could play this game for months. Definitely worth picking up, I got it a few weeks ago and love it.

I would suggest going for the most difficult buchons first. That way when you get to 30xp and want to switch to Tier One mode the easier it should be to level up and get cool gear.

When you are tracking down a convoy, ambush them and use a emp drone to disable the convoy, trust me this will make it so much easier

I would love to see a video on who you think you should take down first in the cartel obviously it's not of great importance but I've found I have more fun when playing and only focusing on taking down a particular person or group as in when you draw your tacmap out and then see all the different people to take out in the circles. Plus I have found no other such video but yet it's kind of important in some ways.

If I were you when you rescue Amaru go to provenances that don’t have buchones. There is a lot of good equipment hidden in those provinces, plus you can upgrade your skills and gadgets so you can start the campaign strong with full rebel supports.

It is so fun to play a game that covers an entire country just about and that Somewhere out there lyes the alien Predator, the most powerful monster to ever come to Earth, it's Roar is has monsterous as Battle Cats On He-Man you can't easily pick him up on thermal if you use your night vision at day it can blind you to him if you take him on at night you can't use your regular eyes at all heel scale down the back of those jungle like trees and if you turn around quick enough you'll see him get ready to run right up behind you, so always keep your back to a tree he climbs halfway up a tree Peaks around the corner and throws his chakra disc at you like a squirrel perched perfectly on the tree he runs through the jungle like a glimmer and can just straight jump from the ground into the tree it shifts around the Treetops and disappears it's he's taunts you with massive roars, and may leave you guessing where it's at for more than 20 seconds or so calculating its next move, it's as bout as strong as 20 trucks without the vehicle explosion assist, if you try to drive up on it with a mrap, or any up armored vehicle you're a Sitting Duck if you hover over the jumble where it is at it will blow you out of the sky well at least I was blown out of the sky while looking at something on a pause didn't think that the Predator would actually shoot me down at that altitude and I woke up or I bring it off pause crash landed in a jungle apparently I was saved but somebody else was laying on the ground dead too so I guess that's what happened.

Here's a tip: In your TACMAP it will show various things and you'll eventually stumble upon your class where it shows tactical and stealth kills. Then your class will be shown in the top right of that screen. Lastly talk with your teammates to determine your role in the group. (question: I play on pc and can't equip the tactical things like c4 and mine, pls help!)

There is a walkaround to the thing where your drone bugs out. Go into your kingslayer files and open a video, any video. You can skip it right away. After this, things should be back to normal.

In my opinion the Lady Killer is the best pistol. If you go into the cartel overview you can see it in the top right. You just have to finish the missions

also, don't mess with Unidad unless you are ready for a serious fight, they take twice as much damage and call in reinforcements

If you get the HTI sniper rifle you can easily one shot helicopters and some cars without a suppressor unless you have the ADV Suppressor skill.

One of the only tips you will need if you haven't started playing yet. Don't get frustrated, because you're going to die a lot and they don't carry you like a baby through the game, if you're 15 minutes into an objective, but haven't completed it, get ready to start all over.

I am very late but...takedowns.They make zero sense but can be helpful if you begin a new game and are doing stealth,do takedowns.If you shoot a person with a weapon that is silenced or unsilenced,does not matter,any enemy that sees it will make others charge in (also nearby rebels will attack instantly).For some reason,if you do a takedown on any enemy,they do not care about the body.

Just picked up the gold edition off playstation store for $30. They are having a sale now on a bunch of ubisoft games.

Late, but flying heli low isnt safer than high up. As soon as your above 1km up, there is literally nothing sam sites can do, you can even get to sueno's mausoleum without going trough the path, just heli your way up and parachute your way down, will make that so much easier. Also, first thing to learn on helis, is avoiding sams, which on the small helis is as simple as turn left or right as hard as you can, 99% of the time, that is all it will take
