James' 1985 Voice I was wondering how long it would take for a fanboy to come along. I don't like the game, and that is the first piece of advice I would give to someone if they told me they bought it.
Not at any point did I claim to be special. Just accept that I don't like the game, and that I made a snarky sarcastic comment on a video, it does not affect your life in any way and there's no need to get all upset and snappy about it. Have a good one.
I hated the beta primarily because i didn't give it a chance, but something told me to buy the game and i must say its extremely fun and immersive playing with or without friends. I went to work tired this morning and i cant wait to get home and play it.
Shawn you know what? Out of everything I've heard about this game, its your comment that has sold me on it. I wasn't hugely into the beta either but I've been considering getting it anyway and you've actually swayed me.
I do that too in case I hit a piece of metal blocking the tango’s head that can’t be seen from 1,000 feet away (which happens a lot). Otherwise you blow your cover b/c you’ll likely keep hitting that same piece of metal. Sync shot is a fail proof.
@@thelasttaco7803 and as the commenter above said, he uses it to ensure if his shot is blocked, his teammate will shoot at the same target in case he misses. You can use a single game function for several uses.
Really small trick but you don't have to wait for your AI squad members to hop in the vehicle before you drive/fly off. Just go and they will magically spawn in with you. Not as realistic obviously but sometimes your AI gets stuck and won't hop in.
189x the ubisoft servers were great. I was playing this game day one with friends and we had no issues at all and plenty of fun. I think some people are just pissy because they can't afford to buy all the good games coming out.
excellent video. FYI - clothing does not effect stealth (such as the Ghille suit) however sneaking at night, using shadows, hiding in bushings, etc all effect stealth. Crouching and crawling prone are also very powerful for stealth. Invest in your stealth and drone perks.
alex wikle Mate, you gotta face it, once you complete the campaign, the open world is empty. It's open world for the sake of being open world, like MGSV. Sure the campaign was awesome and the challenges too but damn mate we need something to do after the campaign's over

My guy, there are a million things to do before the campaign is even over, raiding convoys never gets old for me because it's as if you're highjacking a train, try different ways to approach bases after all they just respawn all the enemies, look at other Ubisoft games like Far Cry 3, what are you supposed to do when the game is over? Play the side missions? Because i sure as hell don't. Ubisoft has been doing this for a while now, you can't just bash one game. Play the PVP, that's what they made PVP for mainly anyway, an activity to get more hours in.
Its fun as hell with friends but man the story is really stale in wildlands. Also I feel like its ridiculously massive in that each of the 21 regions I think? it was either 21 or 19... can't remember.... but anyways each region of the map feels like its own open world in the fact that you always have like 20 or more things to do in each region, even the non story related ones.. I think they did that so you have an overabundance of content that you and your friends can play for a very long time.... I would say it can roughly take you 100 or so hours on the side content alone like all the medals and wepon parts/cases.... trust me that shit takes a lot of time to do in one region... On a side note I do like to note that the draw distance is pretty impressive for this game, making the surrounding area with the mountains and trees look rather beautiful. I could compare it to how those countries look in real life as I have acually been there and it really is just amazing to look at.
I bought this game today, was skeptic at first because all the hate the game was getting and people comparing it to MGSV. I love MGSV finished it twice, great game. NOW, this game actually has surprised me, I'm currently in La Plaga missions and honestly, this game is waaaaaay more challeging then MGSV. Metal gear is easy even on hard. This game has a lot of tactical observations and lots of ways to conclude your objective and i actually like that. Enemies can see from far away they actually hear bullets around them and i think thats pretty awesome. Now, to the people who're thinking about buying it, if you're gonna go guns blazing you're gonna get bored real fast.. If you wanna be tactical and think of many and practical ways to do a mission then this is your game. You cant compare this game to MGSV because they're 2 different things all together. I'm enjoying this game so far amd I'm playing solo. My only gripe is the squad ai, fuck those dudes are dumb. I just tell to wait far away and i go in sam fisher style :)
@@DoomiePookie yes u can.. nmthere are stealth only missions, but makesure uyou usd upgrades for run n gun help. Like drone upgrades, badass guns, stamina, ' bulletproofing 'yourself
Tip: You can dodge SAM missiles by swapping from the pilot seat to the passenger seat in a helicopter before impact and then switch back and fly away (just make sure you have the altitude for it).
Its Ya Boi King I watched a video and it said that ghillie suits actually do help-but all other clothing items are cosmetic-but if it is black and it is night, I think it makes you less visable.
Got this game for free for 3 days from Xbox, beat it and played up until the last hour I had it. Now usually when you're gifted with a free game you play it, beat it, and move on, but I'm genuinely thinking about purchasing this game even though I've finished 100% of the story. This game beat MGSV out of the water for me. Really fun game and keeps you entertained even if you're playing solo, it makes you want to know about every new underboss, it makes playing and beating each province feel good and rewarding, not just by the rewards but the idea that you're slowly crippling this huge cartel. Fantastic game. Fun with friends too, same goes with the PVP mode. If you're thinking of buying this game then do, this is a really fun game. Ubisoft struck gold here.
JoaquizzleTwizzle I find it hard to believe that you beat this game 100% in a 5-hour trial but if that is true then you obviously missed out on 75% of the game so that's not beating it that's rushing through it
For newbies ...just starting off and you get to the 2nd story mission or the 3rd....? The one where you have to power up the rebel radio signal and then your outnumber and outgunned 3 to 1 in about 15 seconds after turning the radio signal on. After a few....several.... frustrating deaths I car jacked a few two ton "road blocks" and left them up from and down from the radio transmitter compound blocking the road. Cuts the Santa Blanca guys that can get to your location within the timeframe by a whole lot.
I'm 37 and I Never thought about calling in rebel support from the drone, always did mortar strikes from relatively close range. So glad I found this video.
Ehhh I've put quite a few hours into Wildlands and I've yet to unlock the parachute and the grenade launcher. The best upgrades to grab early on are for the drone range, battery, and sync shot especially when playing solo
Didn't know you could call in the mortar strike with the drone that's awesome. I love this game it's EPIC but I do wish clothing mattered when it comes to concealment

I luckily found it when i was around level 5, I have been roaming hard difficulty provinces ever since. And yes I play on regular, not because I am bad, but because I want to experience the story first and the world first. I played GRFS on regular first too, and then completed it on Elite, when I finish the story mode I probs will make a new char and set it to highest or second highest diff to complete.
Ubisoft put out r6 seige, watch dogs 2 and now grw yet they are always scrutinized despite having some of the best game in the last few years!! except for division lol
The explosive Drone is great against convoys when hidden. Especially when they have a helicopter escort. Could have your team hit who they can in the chopper and use the drone on the vehicles. The enemies will usually abandon the vehicles and you could move it to claim the supplies
At the start of the first mission in Itacue, when you’re rescuing the Lieutenant there’s a hidden helicopter behind the building from where you start-off. It’s very handy and it’s an amazing experience when you’re just starting out.
if you finished the whole story like me and the people who played in this video just in two days(could have finished in a day or so but I job comes first) you already know we loved the game so much...and can't wait for pvp, new story and MONSTER TRUCKS!
If you're playing solo with AI partners, never wait for them to get into the vehicle; if you just take off they will magically spawn next to you after some distance. Waiting for them to get in wastes so much time. Wish I knew this earlier
"The game lacks a compass for navigation" Your compass is at the top of your binoculars when you look through them. Put your difficulty on extreme, turn off minimap, enemy icons, crosshairs, and use 1st person view for when behind your gun, this will make it more difficult forcing you to recon, listen, watch, and think before you move and shoot, when you die, pay attention to what got you killed, your position, your gun in use, where the enemy was vs you, distance, and even day or night makes an impact. Practice will make you more proficient and skillful.
Tips for me to anyone who cares. Use your drone and upgrade it as best as you can. It'll help you as you progress, mind you it won't be useful in the last mission unless you have the Med - Drone but it's useful for planning. Find weapons and attachments that suit you. Sure you could carry a M4A1 and Sniper Rifle with your M1911 but try to mix it up. Bring a Rifle and Shotgun if you work better that way or even bring a weapon that will help you if situations change. You can in fact sync shot up to 4 enemies ignore the 1-3. Take time to familiarize yourself with weapons, gear, load outs, etc. You would rather be ready to hit and run or sneak and peak. Than to rush blindly and get angry that "ONE ENEMY CAME OUT OF NOWHERE DUUUUUDE" Don't get too comfortable using Rebel support. Sure use it when you'd like but using their scout won't rank you up and that's something that'll speed you along if that's what you like. And best advice I can give anyone treating this like a mil sim. Don't. It's not. ARMA is a good mil sim. You're not supposed to be in Bolivia. You were never in Bolivia. Don't go in like Bay of Pigs. Don't wear full gear. If you want to treat it like a mil sim then blend with the crowd and don't make yourself stand out by wearing your preferred countries military uniform. Which brings me to my next point. I won't shit on you for making your character look any way you want them to. That would defeat the purpose of customizing YOUR character. It's a game have fun with it the way you'd like. The way I play is entirely different than how someone else would. If you want to wear full Military Uniform and go ham on cartel and Unidad. Go for it. If you want to stealth the whole game. Go for it. Have fun. There's a lot to do, many ways to do missions. 👍👍
I highly recommend you finish all (by all i mean 9, that is all you need) of the vehicle drop off upgrades as soon as possible. Doing this will unlock dropoff for a helicopter. It's only a small, unarmed helicopter. But having a helicopter on call has come in use countless times.
You can shoot the little handle on the power generators, drone jammers and there is a little box near the top of the alarm towers. If you can shoot those so you don't have to risk your character too much.
Why do you keep personally shooting enemy AI's that you've marked for sync shot? You don't have to shoot one of the marked enemies to initiate the sync, you can shoot anyone.

You can kill 4 with sync shot, tar 21 and msr is what I use with any silent pistol for close encounters because pistols are completely silent so you won't be spotted from noise like other silenced weapons however like with all weapons if you miss right next to the target you got like 2 seconds to shoot again or your had
ok, so far cry 4 and watch dogs (yes the first one, loved it) were some of my favorite games, and im really thinking that this is gonna be an amazing game. buying it asap
I sort of dissagree with the grenade launcher in the beginning. What I did was get the HTI first. After doing the first story mission and get the m40, instantly go find the HTI sniper rifle along with getting the more powerful scope (Which I think is in the same region, don't know off the top of my head but it can also be optional) while also go and search for the long barrel for the sniper rifles. With the long barrel and HTI, you can one shot a helicopter without the silencer. The HTI will be in an Unidad base but don't be worried, you can easily scout the area with the drone and sneak into the armory if your patient. If you're also feeling adventerous I'd go for the Stonger LMG next as it's the only LMG that can mount a silencer. This might take some work, but it will help with the game as a whole as being able to one shot a helicopter while also having a sniper rifle is amazing. Also it can one shot vehicles if they're being driven. Also I think it can disable convoys with one shot but be aware, the truck can blow up if your allies shoot it more so shoot the convoy truck then the escorts in quick succession.
Play solo or with people you know or have come with. Co-op missions are filled with trolls and are simply a waste of time. Pvp is awesome. Get the medic drone first if you want to help and finish mission with teammates.
At first this game didnt look too special, but now its months after it came out (July) and i cant wait till it's finished downloading since i just bought it now. Idk why but this looks so cool now that i watched this video
if you're new to wildlands. I would prefer using stealthy tactics, filling your skill tree like physical, weapon, and the vehicle drop off...for starters though
I waited a year for this game and found it exactly what I wanted in a tactical open world shooter!!! killing enemy's become very realistic, no bullet sponges unless they actually have armor on, found this game amazing!!!
Derrick TR_MMA I've been waiting for a game like this my whole life. It's like the Open World of Zelda Breath of the Wild plus the stealth and strategy of Tom Clancy. I love it so much I'm still playing Ghost War.
first and foremost you have to know how to code for nasa because i cant even get in a game cause my NAT is strict and i’ve dine every single thing you can and i still cant play with my friends great game ubisoft as always!
Neat little trick. If you don't have the grenade launcher or just don't like it. You can use a drone to destroy a helicopter with any drone. Simply pull the drone out and fly it into the helicopter and it will crash
There is one thing that do frustrates me though. The AI squad members are not smart enough like Ghost recon: future soldier. Every now and then when I try to position them in a stealthy manner, they blow away the cover by roaming around...
2 more tips 1. When stealing supply choppers ALWAYS shoot the pilot first. It doesn't matter if you have to go loud just shoot that pilot and that chopper is going nowhere. 2. When breaching a building you will find the computer you need to hack on the second floor.
If you are looking for a single player game go with Horizon because Wildlands gets stale over time but if you want something to play with friends go with Wildlands.
Guess im late starting it. I dont use sync shot i think it would make it too easy so i go high and snipe if that fails run in loud grab what i need and run out
