Splendid skills, I applause your work, quite curious about basic tools needed for banging a dent out, and making a few simple pieces, and most qurious about the type of wood you use for the stump and the hammer, any specific kind?
@Handbuilt1
@Handbuilt1 5 лет назад
Hi David the stump is simply hard wood, tools.....go to my web site and look at what you need then send me a email,the hammer is called blocking hammer, it's available among the tools

Are your DVD's available on Amazon ? I watched series 4-6 which are very informative indeed. (Also Vimeo may be an option for "renting DVD's" ) What about another shop tour ? It's interesting to know what handtools are available and also more advanced machines.

Ingles o italiano. Bueno seria mejor castellano. Pero en realidad el idioma del buen trabajo no necesita que lo hablen. Se entiende al buen maestro. Gracias Peter

Obviously, you have to control the little puckers!
@Handbuilt1
@Handbuilt1 5 лет назад
It's a matter of controlling just about any move when starting blocking and shaping
@blakenorman4822
@blakenorman4822 4 года назад
So that wheel at the end took out all the pucker marks and indents?

Little magnets work good as well to hold paper.
@Handbuilt1
@Handbuilt1 4 года назад
Yes that is true, but when working with aluminium ........?
@geeper2142
@geeper2142 4 года назад
@@Handbuilt1 Then you would need two magnets , one on each side. Magnets are super strong now and not very expensive.
