Hi. This is a real quick video about Local mode, and why even when it is On and technically everything is working and sounding ok in the studio, why it should ultimately be off for the most true results of what you are recording and, consequently, listening back.
This video was designed for those of you that maybe are transitioning into hardware synthesizers and previously only used softsynths. Or, maybe this is your first foray into synthesizers in general. Regardless, this information is useful!
I decided to use the Behringer Deepmind 12 as the synthesizer in this episode because it has a really handy built-in visual aid for telling what is actually being played both by the synthesizer and what your DAW may be sending back to the Deepmind during playback and recording.
