I love seeing Mel happy. I know she was heart broken when her daytime talk show was canceled. However, selfishly I am grateful it happened because it led to the podcast. I would never have been able to see the show, but I can listen to the podcast. I imagine I am not the only one who feels this way. I think her reach and impact is greater than ever.

I'd still like someone to speak on the effects an active, abusive alcoholic has on the people around them.. specifically the spouse.. what it does to the spouses brain and nervous system..add narcissism to that and you have my ex. The effects are miserable..I've been healing very slowly.. But will never be the person I was before.
