This starter tutorial for the Behringer Model D will focus on one of the most important things I noticed within a few hours of owning this machine and many people could miss. We'll go into the reverse sawtooth option and how I use it in my sound creation with the Behringer Model D, hope it helps a few people !

I always start at the top. Never thought about going the other way for some reason. Thanks for sharing the idea!

The more tips we can get for this machine the better. I find that reversed saw slightly more thinner sounding but together they sound good!

You get different results each way. Top can be good for stuff but starting down low has other benefits, figured it might help a few. Stay creative !

Great tip Todd - I never thought of it. We are like rats in the maze following the same path!

You have benefits for starting on OSC 1 but to create those saw/reverse saw which pretty much turns into a PMW, you need to stack from OSC 3

Man to me one of my favorite things is de-tuning 3 layers! Putting one layer just before or after -3, and one just before or after +3, find that sweet spot and man does it hit some tones!

What happens at 2:28 where he says "this saw tooth right next to it" but before he hits the note it switches back to the other position?

I'm switching between the reverse and normal sawtooth found on OSC 3. That was a video edit mistake, my bad.

@@toddsmithmusic3172 I think more of my question is.... Is what plays afterward what was supposed to play?

Good tip man! I still need to get used to the labeling on the filter section cause for the life of me, I can never remember when playing around which control is which since there are three instead of just frequency and resonance... :P

The second waveform on osc 1 and 2 is nicknamed shark tooth. Too bad it isn’t available on osc 3 to make for some subtlety different modulations.

Anyone have tips on how to use the A440 switch to turn legato off? The power light flashes, when i turn it on and off, but it seems to be stuck in legato
