Being single is not overrated... Its definitely something that people like myself is a space of being content.... Im ok with it... There's alot behind being content with it and lot as to why I'm ok with it
As a person who’s been in a committed relationship since 19 and planning on getting married - there is absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting to be married or having kids. If you want to be single because you don’t want to be tied down then stay single!
I am SO loving this new series of podcast. This episode was so amazing. For two times I found myself getting emotional with your points/story. I am 25, my boyfriend is 30 and we have a similar story as you do. He is black, I am white. We met in 2016 and also faced long distance relationship. We plan to get married to buy a home really soon. As Sav, I have never had a serious relationship before, and had never dated a black guy. He had had relationships before but had never dated a white girl before. In the beginning of our relationship, he was the sweetiest guy and I noticed the little details, like opening the door for you, offering you flowers, etc. However, he was also still confused and later I came to know between him and his ex there had been an attempt of reaproximation, so he was still confused. I get what Savannah was saying about really liking Josh in the beginning. It also happened with me, not just because you know you have met such a genuine and sweet person but also because women usually get more involved in the beginning than man do. A man thinks whether he likes that girl or not and takes a while to realize to know if he wants to marry her, whereas for us we don't need much time to know if he's the one. In some way, we have a different sense or feeling. Later, I came to know when was the moment he started having feelings for me. He told me it was after one time that we were having an argument and we were walking, and when we stopped by my house and he was about to go to his place, instead of me ignoring him and just enter my building I gave him a silent hug and walked away. We also faced long distance relationship and I felt we were also very dependent on each other and unable to be by our own selves. The long distance really strengthened us. At the moment, we are saving to buy a house, live together and marry. But the good thing is that we have a healthy relationship and we love to spend time together as well as we like to spend time alone. We live in the same city, so we get to be with each other more often and the maturing of any relationship is beautiful and comes with time, patience and effort, even before marriage when you know you really want to marry this person. We dream to get married and to have kids and he says divorce will never be an option. I also agree it is so vital to discuss problems within the relationship instead of taking other people's opinions into something they are not experiencing. I love what Sav said about " even if we don't like what our significant did, we still have to love them". Yesterday, me and my boyfriend got into an argument and I so totally did not agree with what he had done but at the end he got to explain his intention behind what happened and even though I was still so indignated ,I still got to understand him, and could not help and stare at him and realize how much I love him. I love how we talk after every argument and make ourselves and our relationship stronger after. We learn with each other and from each other. Coincidence or not, I watch this today and just after our argument yesterday I said to my boyfriend "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I just wanted to say I love you guys and that you are an inspiration for me and for a lot of people in terms of relationships, faith, family and life in general. Thank you for talking about these topics. Since the beginning of our relationship, a lot of things have changed until now. We always get to mature and to find happiness within ourselves so that we can share with someone else who we love. Life is beautiful. Don't forget to be happy. If you were in a healthy relationship, non-abusive nonviolent, then maybe keeping your problems to yourself, is one thing. But if you’re not in a good relationship and you’re in an abusive relationship and you need help you speak to whoever you need to for advice and guidance. Do not go through that alone or even try to. It’s never OK if someone hit you or hurt you man or woman.
Honestly, I agree with Josh on the singleness topic. There are those of us that know we were made to be married; it's a desire that you juts have that you can't help. The concept of marriage with its joys and trials is just appealing to you and you desire it. I'm the same way. ALTHOUGH, God does make and build you in your singleness and you are meant to be content in that season until He joins you to the right person.
Just got further in the video, and I love the transparency. Tell us the whole truth about marriage! lol I don't want to be ignorant or unpleasantly surprised. My boyfriend and I are dating to marry and it's cool to see that yall's perspective and ours seem like to align. I'm sure the foundation of faith is part of that.
I wouldn't say overreacted in a way that's wrong because in my case, I've been single since I was too young because of what I needed to know about the dating world alongside the marriage world and I've heard so many different stories of women and girls being with different people these days.

Since 2006 I've been single a total of 7 months. I was in a 12 yr relationship that ended in April 2018. When I met my husband in June of 2018 he was a "1 night stand". We kept in touch as friends because he was living in another state and by November we hung out for the first time in a while like not as a date or even with any intention. So we spent 3 days together and when he went home he texted me and said he wanted more and the rest us history because I missed him as soon as he left. He moved to Pennsylvania to be with me and we have a 3 yr old son though and so yeah.
I love this quality so much ,up tops with the editing really you guys. And this podcasts are really soothing for my Soul🤗 And the green on Sav is so beautiful 😍
As a female doctor, being single is definitely awesome, I can stay up, lay in bed all day, after work no responsibility for me other than work :) Other than that I love you guys BUT this podcast was very so much red flags in y'alls relationship looooolll

Omg I had packages stolen out of my mail box from glossier and thread wallets and I contacted both of the companies telling them someone stole from me and it would be great if they could help me in any way and they both sent me new packages and said they were so sorry someone stole from me. I was scared to reach out originally so moral of the story is always reach out to the companies because you never know if they will be super nice and just send you completely new products

I think what she was trying to say is "Don't be like RobinAnn". I got married at 19, divorced to a cheater by 25, remarried by 28, divorced to another cheater by 38, remarried by 40, divorced to a cheater by 42, and then with someone without being married for almost 10 years and he was an absolute cheating @busive nightmare. I'm single 5 months now and will never ever date again. I'm going to be happy alone. No more rebounds for me.

I love McDonald’s fries soooo much, but I definitely agree with Sav they are not consistent!!! Nothing hurts more than craving the fries then boom they are not hot or not salted properly 😭😭😭😭
I hope you try Culver's for Sav's sake, or Braums, like if you like a loaded fry... both good! My favorite personally is Arby's. I love that curly fry. :)
I guess it depends on the person, I don’t get grossed out easily. I was a caregiver for elders for 2 years and have been a housekeeper and seen the grossest stuff so if my boyfriend asked I wouldn’t be bugged at all. 😂
There are some options in getting a divorce . If it’s abuses you can’t stay in a marriage. It could be that they could be unequally yoked. There is No Righteousness in been abused. There is no light in darkness. And no peace in a relationship that’s no working out. God Will release you from it.
