I’m stressed some days, and when that happens, I just watch this channel and think to myself, “I should stop complaining.” This guy is inspiring me to make some trips out of the US if I can somehow be a help. So much of what he shows us is inspiring, beautiful, sad, and amazing. Grateful for the perspective.

I'm currently in that position right now. My mom lives in Lebanon and I am sending her money, but just the action of sending money is alot harder than it sounds. The countries financial collapse and failed banking system has locked down peoples funds. These people are not allowed to withdraw their own money out of their own accounts. And if/when they are allowed to withdrawal its small amounts. Even if you do successfully transfer the funds, every bank branch that touches the transfer takes a piece of the pie labelling it as "transaction fees". Everyone is hurting over there. Example: I sent $1000 USD to her a month ago. By the time she got the funds in her hands and after all the "transaction fees" she only received ~$700 USD.

As a Lebanese who lives far from Beirut (in my village up North) I can say that this has affected all Lebanese people. On the same night and immediately the next day we assembled ourselves and went down to Beirut to assist in any way we could (from cleaning the streets to helping the Lebanese army and fire fighters with the search for the missing to organising NGOs for a rapid response). Those who couldn't help on site, helped through social media by spreading the word and raise awareness about what really happened (and on that note I thank you on behalf of my fellow Lebanese people for your work and hope you would come back again under much better circumstances ❤❤) We did all of this and the government still hasn't lifted a finger ( I don't even recall witnessing or reading an apology or condolences to the families of the victims from anyone) Thanks again for everything!! Keep up the good work ❤

Nick, you are such a gift! I've enjoyed watching your videos for a while, learning about cultures and peoples from around the world. But this series on Lebanon is powerful. Hard to watch and needed. Thank you for sharing with the world what mainline media outlets stopped talking about. Much love from Berlin. God bless you.

I can never compile the words to express how grateful the world is for people like you SIr. This channel is hands down the most underrated channel on RU-vid, I have been on YT since 2005, using it for my primary media since 2010, there's few people out here with your heart and passion to deliver truth and educate the rest of the world on things that the AP doesn't care about reporting after the "action" dies down thus allowing the world to forget sometimes what's actually going on around them.

Nick, you do such an amazing job at showing the heart of the everyday people! Bringing truth to the world, that we otherwise would never see or hear. Your kind soul brings out the love we should all have for humanity, regardless of ethnicity, financial situations, religious beliefs, etc. Thank you for all that you do! Thank you for doing everything you do, even if it’s simply showing us such devastating parts of the world and how hopeful and how thankful some of these people are for life, it’s saddens me how much first world countries complain about such petty things. Keep doing great things🥰

This guy is doing more for the issues in Lebanon now than any other news source I've seen, including media in Lebanon. Venezuela, Lebanon, North Korea, you're fearless brother. This is more important than you know and your influence may not be felt for years to come, but KEEP THEM COMING. My Lebanese family back home appreciates this, as do us ex-pats in Canada
