“I'm findin' more and more truth In the words written in red”. Is a beautiful piece in this song. Referencing Jesus’ spoken words written in red in the Bible. Absolutely beautiful.
i din't know this AND i'm an agnostic(not an asshole atheist) but this made me second guess myself because of the goosebumps. I still don't belive but I appreciate and envy ppl who bathe in the lords light.
I grew up in the church from ages 10-18. I had very little to know faith. I would sit in balcony with my Walkman on listening to musicians like Marilyn Manson and NIN. I left without much thought for nearly two decades once I started living on my own. Over the past few years the lord has been forcing himself into my life and little by little I’m letting it in. I can feel myself being repaired physically, mentally and spiritually. Songs like this evoke an emotion that breaks us away from the AI clickbait and remind us that YES there is something out there bigger than us but you have to tap into it in order to receive the transmission. I will always love this song. May you all find peace
Kids need more than not being taught racism, they need to be taught that it is wrong in every way you look at it. I was taught that God doesn't make mistakes especially with his human creation. If you don't teach your kids society will.
I'm a 57y/o white male that has lived in the south all his life, never saw race in this video, i saw our real life...God Bless you and keep up the good work
it’s the song i want to be at mine s well… i believe, this death is The Beginning of Life eternal with Christ Jesus and the words written in red! Thank You Lord Jesus!
This song won CMA's song of the year, video of the year, and album of the year in 2006. Yes, it's the lead singer's true story. Brooks and Dunn have probably over 100 songs under their belt. He can't perform this song live. It's too emotional for him. It's absolutely beautiful.
your reaction was beautiful. You made me cry....I love this song so much. Jennifer Hudson does an amazing cover of it on a Brooks and Dunn Tribute show.
Nothing but truth in his words...True story of Singer Ronnie Dunns childhood! It shaped him as a person and a man...the song is beautiful but the story video and Ronnie's bluesy/gospel voice together bring it home!!! It's said that he rarely performs it live as it's difficult to get through...speaks to the significance of the relationship he had with old man Wrigley...priceless!
I enjoyed you so much on this. I could see you can lose yourself close your eyes and just feel like I do. This is why I rather see women like you do the reactions on songs like this. Thanks for sharing your beautiful face.
Yes, this is a true story of the lead singer Ronnie Dunn. He studied theology in college in Texas but he was noticed by someone and ended up as the Marlboro man for marlboro cigarettes in all of their ads from there he followed his music career. He is an icon in Country music. He sings with such feeling and soul. His voice is pitch perfect and it is one of those very special unique voices that once you've heard him you will never forget it. I loved your reaction video. You have a great reaction and commentary. Thank you!
These are my favorite male country artists, this song came out a few months after my grandfather passed away from bone cancer and to this day this song still crushes my heart. 😢
I had a friendship just like this so many years ago. My friends name was Charlie . Every time I came by his shop, he would stop and go out back as I rode my bike around to the drive behind his shop. We talked for what seemed like a long time. I still remember his smile he was such a good man. Charlie, I hope to see you again soon my friend.
There really is love between the races, this video was sang by the very person whom this story actually happened to! Keep the love, keep the hope. We can make a difference, one person at a time. Love to you from an old(er) (74) man in Kansas. Ciao!
This is the 3rd video I’ve watched of Ronnie Dunn singing “Believe” and not one reactor commented on his vocals! Yes the storyline is superb but the range this man hits at the end gets me every time! What a shame not one of you mentioned his voice!
This song hits me right at home, growing up my Dads neighbor Mr Strong he fought in WW2 my Dad and Mom have me bring him over food and help him out when I heard he passed away when I was out on the road as a truck driver. He was a Christian Man can’t wait to see him and my Grandma on the other side
I've seen several reactions to this song but the love on your face says it all. Thank you Camille. Try some Zack Williams live from Harding Prison, 'To the Table' is awesome.
Vince Gill & Alison Krauss video ( Go Rest High on The Mountain) Brad Paisley & Alison Krauss video ( whiskey Lullaby) Kenny Rogers (Lady) RIGHTEOUS Brothers video ( Lost That Loving Feeling ) This video will BLOW YOUR MIND! Elvis Presley ( The Ghetto) These are some of the videos, that viewers are watching .
This is actually a true story of Ronnie Dunn. The singer. "As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10:11-13
Your reactions was just like mine... Your reaction video to this song is the absolutely the best I've watched. God is Good all the time... God never disappoints... God is listening everyday... GOD WANTS TO TALK TO YOU... GOD WANTS YOU TO TALK TO HIM... God walks with us everyday... GOD LOVES ALL OF US!!! Much love from Mobile Alabama.
My mom lost a long time old friend in 2013 we all called him Mr. Green he was very wise and nice to be around if my mom ever needed help or needed advise she went to him he passed away at 97 years old
In all honesty I am an agnostic but this is a really great song. If there is a god and he just, then he will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by.
I love so much when the reactor sits and appreciates the song for what it is and speaks their opinion on it to end the video. I cant stand every 15 seconds stopping and reacting bit by bit. Thank you for doing it right honey. Keep up the good work
Ronnie Dunn's voice is just... on. And yes, he really knows how to use those pipes. It could have used a little more of the gospel choir in the background. You just got a new sub.
this is the first reaction that I have seen to this track that makes me want to give the reactor,( you) a big hug! I love you sister and I'll see you there!❤
Wow I'm glad that I Found You And subscribe to you because your reactions are great I think this song hit you exactly like it hit me I'm from Canada I'm a woman I grew up with two sisters two brothers and I never knew any grandparents boy how I wish he would have been my grandpa cuz that's where you get your history from thank you God bless
These friendships were common in the south growing up. I remember at 5 an old man used to bring momma buttermilk every Wednesday and momma made us drink it. I hated it and hated the man for bringing it! I hated that man and didn't know he was black til I was 38! I didn't hate the man cos he was black, it was all about the buttermilk! I learned a few years ago he was murdered in the 60s. I really felt bad about hating him. People are people but to this day, I hate buttermilk! I'm 65 now, but he was still a part of my life, and I still remember him.
