I’m a heavy equipment operator and really do put faith in my machine. You can say what you want but I’ve been in situations where my machines kept me safe.
Cawl doesn't want to be the Fabricator General. It's the Cawl Inferior, the "AI" that Cawl installed to communicate with Guilliman on his ship, that is requesting this .
One of the best characters in 40K! Currently I'm reading Genefather by Guy Haley where Cawl is prominently featured, a real pleasure witnessing him face off with his Chaos counterpart, Fabius Bile.

Just came here to say I'm a hater, Cawl (and the primaris marines he made) is the single worst thing that has ever happened to warhammer 40k. And I will die on that hill, even if very few people agree with me. I can't wait until he is ostracized as the Heretic he is.
I agree, gw could have done anything to refresh the lore that wasn't just "oh yeah this guy had the primaris cooking the whole time this last 10000 years"
I like the idea of bigger, stronger and more stable space marines. It follows logically that you'd want to make your special forces even more special, no? Actually, the worse idea was saying that each chapter must be limited to 1000 astarties. It's such a laughably small number on a galactic-wide scale.
@@Mael-vk1it I wonder if anything dramatic happened in the lore which made it imperative that no space marine Legion can have the power to usurp the imperium
@@braindeadhoovy2562 Two points. -The traitor legions do not abide by such an arbitrary number, so you're actually neutering your loyalist chapters against them. -Space marines are meant to be more resilient to chaos corruption than imperial guardsmen. The imperium should have bolstered their loyalist legions even further, and I guess that's kind of what's happening now these primaris marines are around.
