24mms are on the bottom and attaching to the wall mount. So, you need a 17, 19, and 24. This really pissed me off as I had to make two trips to Lowes before getting this right. If you've made changes to the product, you need to reupload the video.

@@felipegoodman3838 also note that they changed the hole spacing on the front upright so they are staggered. The video says you don't need to pay attention to which way you mount the upright, and I learned the hard way that is wrong. I ordered two towers and didn't notice until after they were assembled. I had to virtually disassemble one tower to rotate the upright 90 degrees so the uprights would match.

@@balboa0621 I was looking at the diagram and it looked like the holes on the sides started higher than the holes on the front. Is that the right way?
@balboa0621
@balboa0621 3 месяца назад
@@felipegoodman3838 I don't know if there is necessarily a right way or wrong way as long as they are the same. I will say that I have the higher holes on the front and the trolly hits the cables making the highest setting unusable. I can't speak to any potential issues with having them the other way as there is no chance I'm disassembling those things again to test it out.

You put the selectesizer part on upside down. The instructions and the cable tower video with Kaevon have it so the pullout knob is in the higher position. Does it matter? I'm in the process of assembling mine.

Just completed assembling mine. This video does help a lot but it may be outdated for the newer version of the system. First, you need a 24mm socket for the bottom and top frames. And he put the selectorizer on upside down. If you do it his way, you wont be able to use the top holes. And make sure you all label the bolts before starting. Don't know why they don't label them for us. Lasty, if you ordered the back upright attachment, it provides little to no stability. You still going to need to bolt it to the wall or floor.

@bells of steel video was okay. Got a bit wonky around the floating two wheel/pulley system and never really cleared up that mess. I had to zoom in at the end to catch the fact I didn’t place the cables metal tip end through the short screw. That and my screw package did not come numbered. I had to again, zoom in and do a comparison to tell the differences

I ordered and received the new 2.0 version with back upright included. One thing I would make as a point is to install the back upright with the base of the frame from the beginning. It ships as the cable tower and just the additional back upright. If you follow this video or instructions guide setting up the cable tower, you'll have to undo and redo some steps to add the upright. Adding it from the start of the base frame is the way to go. The instructions on the upright aren't clear but you don't need the back plate (part 38 in my guide) on the rear of the frame. It also shows only a top mounting plate which is connected by 2 bolts, however, with the upright side plates on, you can't add the 2nd bolt on the mounting plate on the very top. Not sure if I messed up but it currently only has 1. I havent found any mounting hardware yet to anchor into a stud yet so any suggestions would be helpful. I also had an extra washer in my parts, triple checked to make sure, so you could have additional pieces leftover. Overall, I think this is the best home gym cable tower for the value, have tried an amazon one and a titan version.

Just received mine and I was about ready to lose my mind with the bolt for the front rod not threading and then I noticed there was a bunch of slag from where they welded the wheels on in the hole, so I had to drill out that before I could get it all put together. As someone who owns the selectorized version of the cable towers and found the assembly video of that one really poorly done and poorly narrated, credit where credit is due as this video is immensely better executed. Regular and consistent call outs to the bolt #s or sizes throughout. Much better camera work that makes it more visible to see what you’re doing. Call outs for tips about the assembly process. IMHO the weight stack assembly video needs to be redone. It’s obviously not impossible to follow along, but comparatively, the difference in clarity of explanation is massive. The difference is most obvious to me in watching the difference between the two videos while the pulleys and cables are being installed.

Getting mine today and exited to assemble! One question: For mounting into wood studs, customer support suggested tapcon+ screws, which are concrete screws? Could y'all clarify what the suggested screw size and style truly needs to be?
@Flabango
@Flabango 11 месяцев назад
For fastening the base to a concrete pad, tapcons are the move. For drilling into studs, number 10 grk construction screws are good, and don’t get anything bigger than 3.5 inches long. Because studs are at least 3.5 inches
@Flabango
