No matter how tight the bolts are tightened the lid flops around on the toilet totally loose. I paid $45 for a piece of junk. I’ve used seats that were 40 years old and they are infinitely better than the stupidly designed Bemus seats. What idiots at that company.
The bolts should be on the underside of the toilet bowl, so I'm not sure what you mean about them being inside. If you locate the bolts, you should be able to use a 5/8" wrench to loosen them. If you're still having trouble, our Customer Service team can help you. Please call 888-722-6488.
