Yeah he's nothing like his cash cab persona in real life, the first time I saw his standup, I was blown away. Same thing happened when I saw Bob sagets standup for the first time.
Is there a link to the original audio anywhere still? It's cool that "comedy anatomy" bought the rights to the footage and released it in full, but the audio quality was so much better in the original video!
Idk, this Dais was a true Murderer's Row... Barry, Giraldo, DiPaolo, Burr, Norton, Quinn. Each one, plus I'm sure a few I'm missing, put on their own MasterClass in roasting here... Most kept it kinda Mean/Loving. Patrice called em out if they were kissing too much ass.

Roasts before social media and roasts today are so different; roasts in the age of Facebook and Twitter are on a higher tier of meanness. Pray you don't have a deceased relative who died by self-deleting themselves, or a mom who went to rehab, or some such; they're going to get mentioned for sure.

The little Kev reference is, Keith Robinson was kind of a mentor for the then up and coming young comedian Kevin Hart. Keith took him under his wings, but Kevin ripped the wing of flying away with it with his success, leaving Keith behind with one wing flying in circles between Philly and NY. Ben just took a shit down Keith's soul in the most poetic way possible, lol. He is just vicious in this set. "I've been drinking and I'm feeling violent!"
