i love seeing Benedict in interviews, it just shows how good an actor is when you see him out of character, all smiling and charming and stuff, just so far from our favourite abrasive consulting detective :)

I think stephen's written him.very much like sort of a human Doctor. seemingly he's a type of hero except he isn't because of his recklessness at times. if that makes Amy sense lol xx

i love the 'have a nice day!' part. the scripts are just perfect. each line is just so well placed!!!! the references to the canon are just gorgeous. on a side-note, i'd love to see benedict sing. he must have such a nice singing voice! bass, yum.

This man was a revelation as Sherlock. I fist noticed him in Small Island, where though his character wasn't strong, he still had a presence about him. Then in Atonement and now this. This Holmes is dynamic and has an edge.

@farshnuke they have said they will film more Doctor who and Being human is all ready being filmed for series 3. Loved Sherlock, as it has been said many times, the characters are portrayed extremely well and I think well from my point of view Benedict is certainly one to rival David, though Benedict is has more of a appeal in my eyes but David has a all round appeal. So glad they finished on a cliffhanger makes it more interesting! Well done BBC!

Also to add, if anyone does follow the fictional websites the characters have, they can not update then because are in that predicament at the end of the show so if they do write on them, then it shows that they must have survived? I know just realised I do point out the obvious

well the seventh one is an episode which was not aired. it is the same story of episode 1, study in pink, but quality was bad. its duration is around 40 minute. you should definitely check it out. torrent it or buy the bluray copy.

@mailboxmatty My sentiments exactly. XD Benedict Cumberbatch is fantastic as Sherlock Holmes along with Martin Freeman. And it does help the viewers that next to the engaging plot and dialogue sparkling with wit, the protagonist is rather gorgeous and...(cough*primefangirlingmaterial*cough*) So, does anyone know when exactly the second series will air?

@SilverxxMistxx Really? Have you read the original works by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle? To me, Martin Freeman does Watson wonderfully. I've never seen any other adaptions though. Not even the movie. I keep meaning to get around to watching it.

@justnotcricket yea we get Doctor Who and Sherlock on normal tv, then u can get foxtel which is paid tv and u can watch uktv which has a bunch of diff british shows but Doctor who airing here is 2 weeks behind England, not sure about sherlock
