All I was thinking about this whole video was Subnautica Below Zero because Adult penguins are called Pengwings and baby penguins are called Penglings 😆 they are not as cute though

@@mockingjay478 the specific vowels and consonants are not the only differences in each pronunciation. His intonation also changes, and even the cadence/emphasis is different. Somehow he manages to make each “penguin” a unique pronunciation 😂

That's what you do when you are dyslexic and know that you are probably doing it wrong, so you try it multiple ways in the hopes to magically come across the right way to do it.

One is just how you make your voice sound when you talk the other is how you move your tongue and other such things involved with taking. My uncle is a hobby impressionist and he can do tons of different voices and accents but to this day he still cannot pronounce cinnamon or aluminum to save his life.

I suspect he got stuck in the habit of the mispronunciation as a child and has not worked to catch and change it as an adult. I wonder how common this particular mispronunciation is with kids. Honestly producers/sound engineers are sketchy af. I did vocals for a jazz album and some were in Portuguese (not my native language). I got the pronunciation of one word wrong repeatedly. This was a big deal because I sang this word over and over in the chorus. I didn't realize until the album was out and a bunch of people were like, why did you pronounce it that way? The first person to point it out was a non-native Portuguese speaker as well, meanwhile, the producers were all Portuguese. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Happened a second time a few years later when I was recording a jingle. Just when I'm done recording and I'm about to leave someone from admin walks in on me and the sound engineer listening back to what I recorded and goes, "You know you're pronouncing X wrong right?" Cue me having to go back in the booth to re-record everything including background vocals and harmonies. Why the sound engineer, who is a native Portuguese speaker, didn't just point it out at the beginning of the session remains a mystery to me. 🤷🏾‍♀️
