Yunus, thank you so much for that reply. My goal was to provide some help to folks like yourself so your reply means a lot to me. Ride swift, ride safe. 🏍💨🦑
I really think the Benelli would be a grom killer if there was more manufacture support and more after market options. They are well on their way though thats for sure.
Thank you for watching my content. Steadygarage.com is a solid source for aftermarket when they have it in stick. They seem to be out of stock quite a bit. It takes folks like you and I to give Benelli a solid chance in North America. Getting solid info out there will help! Send that pic to me of your Jeep with the sticker and I'll share in on the next viewer's appreciation video. 🏍💨🦑
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures Yeah stock seems to be the common issue but I am assuming thats still due to Covid shipping delays/product manufacturing delays. I will be getting a picture sent out today I took the dslr out while it was clean the other day so hopefully they turned out good.
LOL Yep, it sure is. I'll be 60 in 4 month. No gray hair and full head of it so I rock it. It's a really good bike for the money and maybe you can go take a test ride on one at your local dealer? I sure hope you get one and enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed mine. Eric
So just a quick addition to this video. My battery lasted over 2 years however i didn't replace it because it died. I replaced it because it was causing my bike the throw a CKP error. Kind of funny since it doesn't have a ckp sensor however it caused my bike to die randomly and it wouldn't idle. So I do recommend replacing the battery whenever you get some spare income
Q, thank you very much. I started this puny channel to help folks and so far it's been a success. I work hard to provides exact stats, good lighting and good closeups of whatever I'm working on. My first couple TnT are pretty bad as I was learning how to do YT. Thank you so much for the sub. All the best, Eric
thanks so much for this video... I was looking to replace my pipes.... but now I'll keep the stock! be safe out there and keep your wheels on the road... 😁
I am sure you know, but...the 'BENELLI' Q.J. Srl facility is just up the Autostrada from me here in Italy, in Pesaro, on the Adriatic Coast. Whilst QJ owns the 'BENELLI' brand the bikes are styled and design engineered here - with pride !
Yes, I'm aware of Q.J. and mentioned them in one of my videos. They make a solid bike at a great price in my opinion. The real problem is the Benelli distributer in North America. The lack of support to the customer and dealers is staggering. They need to yank the franchise away from them and open up legit Benelli dealers. Thanks for commenting.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures ......actually "thank you" for the videos. As regards North America, maybe Benelli riders over 'the pond' need to get together and write a group email to Benelli QJ in Persaro, Italy. They would be far more receptive than trying to get through to the right people at Q.J.. We are very lucky here in Italy since our Benelli bikes are QC'd by Benelli in Pesaro before going to Dealers. Having just checked out a new TNT 125 at my local Benelli dealer I am most definitely saving my pennies up ! Again, thank you for all your hard work bringing great TNT information to all of us 'out here'
Got a Benilli TnT 135cc and it's vibrating a lot. Sounds like it's coming from up front. Headlight assembly maybe but nothing loose. Could you please give me advice? Thank you, Sir...😎🇮🇹💯🇺🇲
I had decided to buy a TNT 135 till I read it only has 50 mm of rear suspension travel. Than watching a Cleveland Moto video he said it had 5" same as front. Could you please tell me proper number?
Todd, thank you for taking the time to drop a thank you. I've worked hard on trying to get some info you there to TnT fold. Ride swift, ride safe. Eric
Mr.Kraken I just added the black widow header to my Benelli and it seems to have lost power in both top speed and acceleration.......is there something wrong?.....I already checked my gasket for the exhaust as well
You've done nothing wrong with your installs. You're going to have to buy a fuel mapping device. Steadygarage.com sells them. Why you install just a pipe, you don't need to buy a mapping box. When you go to a hi flow air filter. Header, and pipe your fuel mixture is way off and that explains the poor performance. I hope my thoughts help. Eric
Thanks again for these great videos on the Benelli TNT. I watched this one again a week ago when considering buying one I saw on FB Marketplace for sale near me. Unfortunately, the mint condition photos, VERY low miles and lower than trade-in price raised a lot of red flags in my head and I passed. On a different note, what do you know about the Sym Wolf CR300i? Got a local rental outfit selling out their fleet and I'm hoping to snag a 2019 for cheap. Few reviews and those are positive. Thanks and I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
Barry, I don't know much about them but the few friends I have that do own them, love them. They have a small dealer network and parts are hard to get sometimes. A rental may be clapped out so be sure to look it over closely. Good luck!
Ethanol free is definitely the way to if you can find it. I ruin 95 oct when I have to use ethanol gas which seems to help. little. Thanks for watching and commenting. Eric
This is my first bike, I got it with 1 mile on it and it current has 7,100 miles on it. Only things I have done is change the tires and adjust the valves along constant with oil changes. No problems and no complaints whatsoever, it's a great bike
J B, there is no better testimony to a product then yours. It's a heck of a lot of bike for the money and sop far very reliable. Thanks for sharing! Eric
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures I got it and you're absolutely right it's a fun Lil bike. Especially om the country roads. I don't really plan on doing mods, unless I put mirrors that give me more visibility and maybe some different tires after second oil change. Thanks again for your videos . I'm in NC maybe I can link up with you and the other moto riders to go for group ride.
Thank you for your tnt 135 series I just bought mine two weeks ago now I have a guide to trouble shoot as I'm a new rider again (took 10 years off for my son) keep them coming just wish the bike had a gear indicator but keep up the good work brother
Adam you are most welcome and good folks like you are why I've done this series. A gear indicator would be nice, on this we agree. Enjoy that new bike sir! 🏍💨🦑
I own a Benelli 302s and absolutely love it. I agree that the quality is at least on par with Japanese bikes I own or have owned in the past. I've considered the 135 in the neon green to match my 302....
William, the short answer is yes. You're going to have to set the spring load on the shock to its highest setting or replace the shock with a HD one. It's no speed demon and with that weight it will he a tad slower. I'm 210# lbs. Eric
Parts available are sketchy at best. There are only a few distributors here in the US. I ordered my parts from my dealer, and it always took about 3 weeks to get them. The Kawasaki will be fewer headaches, but the TnT will cost quite a bit less. I hope my thoughts help.
I also wanted to thank you you got my subscription the moment you helped me reprogram my speedometer on my benelli......if I'm lying I'm dying ty sir!!!!
Maverick, I read that somewhere as well but I find it sad the consumer had to fiddle like that to get a working headlight. It's fixable with an aftermarket light so in retrospect it isn't that big a deal. Thanks for watching. 🏍💨🦑
Have you had any issues with your headlights!? None of my LED headlights will illuminate. The Daytime running lights work just fine. But my High beams and lower headlight will not turn on. It shoes indication on the Tac that they are on. But no illumination. Any ideas? There is nothing online about this.
To answer your question, no this hasn't happened to me. The first thing I would check is your fuses. 2nd disassemble the front headlight area, disconnect and re-plug in your headlight harness to see if it's seated properly. Good luck.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures Checked the fuses first and they were all working properly. I was hoping for fuses lol but the LED lights don't have fuses according to the user manual. Thanks for the advice!
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures After further investigation, It is a had headlight. Very unfortunate for 700 miles. Metered all outputs and shower a good 13.5 volts on all wires, just no illumination.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures Absolutely! Me too! I really appreciated the quick responses on your videos! It really is nice to hear back input very quickly! Unfortunately the Benelli is a very scares bike here in America, so finding any information at all is near impossible. Great bike! Just hard to source out parts and information! Keep on Keepin on! Thanks again!
Here ya go. i stored it in my dropbox. www.dropbox.com/s/j53yc6dukca60g5/Benelli%20TNT%20135cc%20Official%20Full%20Service%20Manual%20%282021%29%20.pdf?dl=0
Since I am getting the Benelli Tnt125 which should be the exact same size. Can you possibly make a video showing the actual size or the bike, how it could fit in tigh spaces, etc. Since this is the initial reason I am getting this bike, how compact it is. Also if it's ok to carry 2 people from time to time. Thanks!
AKS13V, sorry for a late reply. This mini moto will have one of the smallest footprints in your garage. It's light weight enough to pick up the rear and set it very close to the wall or tuck out of way. I doubt I'll shoot a video just on that topic but it really is quite small. For 2 up riding, down street sure, anything more I wouldn't recommend it. At 125 to 135 cc it just isn't going to have the power or suspension to sustain anything long distance. I hope you get your TnT soon! Eric
Zac, I won't be a good comparison because I'm much older then the average buyer. But to answer you question I pay $65 per year through Allstate $100 deductible comp and collision. Up to 300,000/100,000/300,000. I hope this helps and it's going to be about as cheap as you can get for any bike.
Idk know if you're in the states but I purchased this one from Karnes Powersports in PA. No bs fees and was $3,033 OTD and I paid my own taxes and tags when I got home.
@@jonballen1550 thank you sir and welcome aboard. I cover many different bikes but the principles are all the same. All are welcome in my channel. Eric 🏍💨🦑
Well thank you Allan. I just report the news on my channel, be it good or bad. Just trying to help folks that may be considering purchasing a TnT. All the best, Eric
The dealers don't offer one that I'm aware of. I have a soft copy you can download off of my dropbox here: www.dropbox.com/s/j53yc6dukca60g5/Benelli%20TNT%20135cc%20Official%20Full%20Service%20Manual%20%282021%29%20.pdf?dl=0 I hope this helps. Eric
Hi, you did a video on tnt 135 valve adjustment. There was a question as ro why there is 2 timing marks near tdc, T1 and T2. I thinks these are for spark timing?
Kevin, sorry for the late reply. Yes, that is exactly what they are for adjusting the intake and exhaust valves. I shot a video on adjusting the the valves here. Eric ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vz0aym1WBtQ.html
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures the lobes on a cam are not radical enough that a few degrees of rotation will make a difference. Try rotating the engine a few degrees after valve adjustment and see how far a rotation is needed to reduce the valve clearance. The marks are too close together to make a difference on the valves. There must be another reason for the t2 mark. It might make sense in terms of flame propogation in a 2 plug engine to stagger the sparks slightly. Thank you for your tenacious attention to detail.
I couldn't agree more. I was so disappointed with the Yoshimura on the noise level. Thanks for watching and happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. 🦃 Eric
Hi Eric, Mate as always am loving your video's you are my goto chanel for anything to do with my TNT 135 ( which I love as a neat little bike ) couple of questions please ( sorry ) 1. Am looking to change the rear sprockett to a 32tooth, have changed the front to a 17 tooth, I know I can get one from Steady Garage but do you know if these are available any where alse as steady want double the price of the sprocket to ship to NZ. 2. I have changed the stock exhaust, just wanted to confirm about grounding out the ecu before I do this, all I need to do is unhook both + and - from the battery then ground the positive to the negative? will this reset the speedo as well so would I need to recalibrate the speedo again? thanks mate, keep up the great work and sorry for the questions. Dave
Dave, don'r be sorry for asking questions. If we all help each other out, we all get to enjoy the sport more. There's a seller on ali express (they work like Amazon where you have many retailers selling through Ali Express) This is the guy I order my parts from and you can ask him on FB. facebook.com/groups/4437894646241688/user/100009500541984 Steady Garage has the right stuff but they want all the $ for it. For grounding out and resetting your ECU, removed + and - battery terminals. Touch the + terminal to something metal on the bike. This will trigger the reset. Hook them back up and go for a ride. It will take 5 to 10 miles as it learns your new setup, i.e. pipe, air box or whatever changes you made. No, it will not reset your speedometer programing. I hope this helps. Eric
Phenomenal advice all around, thanks! Seems like a fun bike. I used to have a Grom but the excitement lasted for about 6 months, I ended up selling it after that, this one looks a little taller and tad more capable, looks very aggressive and modern
Thanks for watching and commenting ting VVoltz. This bike is just about the same as a Grom and I don't think it would open any new doors from your Grom experience. Just a fun bike to mini hooligan around on. 🏍💨🦑
Thank you sir! My wife and I retired and this video convinced us to buy the TNT135 over Grom's. These look perfect for us. White for her and green for me. (Do we owe you a commission?) Back before having kids, she had a silver Benelli 500 Quattro and I had a red (of course) 750 Sei; plus we've had other bikes over the years. As we now live out about 60 miles AWAY from Houston on a country road, we are looking forward to riding again! Looking forward to viewing your other TNT135 videos!
Perry, congratulations to you and your wife on your retirement and your two new TnTs! I have a small library of videos on the TnT that might help you on your ownership. The early ones are pretty sophomoric as I just started my channel and the production is pretty bad. Feel free to reach out to me on IG or here. I respond to most replies. All the best! Eric
Kevin, the front suspension is non-adjustable. The rear you just need a "spanner wrench" that fits your shock. To reset the ECU, disconnect both battery terminals, ground the positive (red) to something metal on the bike. Wait 10 seconds and reconnect. It will take like 5 miles riding for the ECU to learn the correct fuel mapping. Good luck.
AJ, if only the pipe and not an air intake or tail pipe, your good. Disconnect both battery terminals. Touch and hold the positive battery terminal to bare me YT al on the bike for like 10 seconds. Reconnect the terminals and ride for 20 miles, while it learns the new fuel mapping. Good luck! Eric 🏍💨🦑
Sir thankyou for your help you are a master at what you do......I already added the chimera intake as well......so I just touch the positive terminal to the negative post on the battery?
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures I have learned a lot from your videos and I’m very thankful. I will disagree slightly regarding the battery because my bike is stored outside with just a cover and starts up every time. It’s been a year of ownership and I haven’t had one problem and I have 8k miles!
@Mike B. I have the most current service manual in Dropbox if you need it. I've done a whole series of video on this bike to help folks maintain them. Congratulations on you new bike, you're gonna love it. Eric
My husband really enjoys your videos, which is why I'm reaching out here. He bought the 2021 model 2 weeks ago and I would like to find him a slip on exhaust for his birthday, any suggestions?
Melissa, I'm so sorry for the late reply. For some reason YT flagged your reply as spam and I just saw it. If you can find one my suggestion would be a Yoshimura www.yoshimura-rd.com/products/benelli-tnt-135-exhaust-system-19135ar520?variant=12727764353127 Please reach out to me anytime and I'll do my best to help you and your husband. All the best. Eric
MR. Kraken, I hope you are feeling better since we last spoke? I have a small question please, I recently changed my front sprocket on my tnt 125 from a 15t to a 16tooth sprocket but it feels like something is slipping when going full throttle? I’ve taken it off and put it back on again making sure it was fitted correctly, tensioned the chain and slacked it off both still had same issue, completely degreased chain and cleaned sprockets, still the same issue. Any ideas to what could be the cause?
