Brennan X Bones pretty good so far. Again the colors are not the strength of it. But the response is pretty awesome for like FPS games (in my case Destiny)

@@hm31191 this is very personal. If you put this monitor next to a IPS monitor, you will see for sure a difference. That being said, this is a TN panel. The focus is response. So if you are playing FPS games, I recommend. I Play Destiny 2 on PS4 and I couldn't be happier. If you want to play games for the graphics, like The Last of Us 2 or Final Fantasy, you might be better with a IPS monitor with high refresh rate to serve you well also in the FPS ones, but you are for sure going to spend more.....

@HugeGuy69 i don't have the monitor anymore. I used it for about 3 months then sold it off to a friend of mine cuz I don't play in 4K anymore. For those 3 months tho I did not experience any issues with the monitor. I was playing on a PS4 console, not a PC. Not sure if this helps but this was my experience with it. Good luck!

Would you recommend this over the Benq ew3270u or the Asus VG289Q? I’m getting significant eye strain from my 55” C9 oled as it’s mounted to the wall and too far away for gaming, so figured I would look into monitors. The blue light reduction / eye care is something that really appeals to me for this reason. I’ll be using a ps4 pro. Won’t be playing FPS all that much really. I’ve read some comments stating that you sacrifice colours with this monitor even with HDR. I really am big on vibrant colours and image quality so that’s pretty important. Can you recommend a good monitor with the blue light reduction that really compliments graphics?

Yo this video is smooth. I like that song that you put in your video. I need to correct you on the input lag tho. The input lag for this monitor isn't 11.2 ms because it's around 9ms.

How is the "ghosting" on it? When you have a bright spot in a dark scene, does it have a lot of extra "glow" around that bright spot?

Still great. It doesn't do 120hz obviously but for 4k gaming I'm still super happy and still using it. Not sure how much they cost now but they have to be cheaper so I'd definitely recommend if you can still get them.

OK - good looking monitor. I run a GTX Titan X in my best and recently got a PS4 Pro - I heard that recent drivers updates allow quite a few (including mine apparently) work on free sync monitors. No idea what the refresh rate of this monitor is but would this be a good choice for my setup or would the ASUS VG278Q be better?

Namaste! I just ordered this today from local stock; its all Nepal has now for under 500 USD. But I am very confused on connecting a 2015 Retina MacBook Pro to this. Should I just use HDMI to HDMI, HDMI to Lighting 2, or try and find a MiniDP to Lighting 2 cable or does it make any difference at all? I suppose this is easier with a newer USBC MacBook, as I think u can get adapters there that work? I might upgrade the laptop someday soon as well. Well, any advice or comments welcome!

I can notice a lot of black squares appearing while watching videos. It gets black squares in the darker places on videos ... Is it normal because its RU-vid videos ? Because when I game I don't notice those ?

I ordered one for 250€ on Amazon. I never had any kind of 4K Display before or even played on one. For this price I am willing to try it. The BenQ EL2870U will replace my old BenQ Full HD 60 Hz Monitor as second screen. So I can decide between 4K 60hz on this or 1440p 240hz on my Samsung Odessey G7. My new Rig (5950X, a 3090 and 64gb ram) can hopefully handle 4K 60 FPS in most current games. Could be cool to revisit older games like AC Origins in this higher Resolution too.

@@iuryrenato the monitor in this video can do all that it also supports hdmi 2.0 so you could do 4K on the consoles at 60hz but not any higher

Hey man just got this today. Love the monitor so far only problem is when I play Madden or MLB the screen shrinks and I have no idea how to fix it. Any ideas? Apex, rocket league, 2k and such don't do it so I'm not sure the problem

You need to turn off the hdr on your console (hdr looks bad anyway it makes it look all yellow)

Great review. Been thinking about this monitor for months now. How is the HDR? I've heard some people say that its not true HDR because of the monitors peak brightness. Its the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

The hdr is ok. I had this monitor briefly and noticed slightly more color differentiation but but nothing crazy. If HDR and colors is a main priority consider an IPS it will have better colors. The lg 27uk650-w (what I have now) is good option in the same price range as this monitor. I didn't notice any difference in input lag or response lag between the two. Although both were slightly slower than my 24inch benq rl2460ht which I kept for competitive Halo 5. Overall though I don't think your getting a huge bonus with HDR unless you have full array local dimming and probably a higher brightness (a lot more expensive) but it is still noticeable. Keep in mind true HDR could be rough on the eyes for prolonged gaming. On a side note if you go with Benq be very careful carrying the package. Carry it from the ends otherwise you can damage the screen because its exposed without any Styrofoam protection. Watch unboxings to see what I mean. I had to return mine for a screen defect. not sure if it was me or damaged in shipping but just be careful.

Does your monitor have a small trail in the image sometimes?? I’ve noticed that when I play games on some bright maps, or in BO4, when I look up at the sky, and move real fast, it makes a smalle bright trail on the objects. Is it just me?

Hello Air Bear, thank you for your review. I currently have a 3x 1080p setup for nvidia surround. One of those monitors is a 24 inch and the other two 27 inch. I was planning of course to buy the same 27 inch to complete the setup. I am only interested in nvidia surround for flight sim, so in fps i use a single monitor rated at 144hz 1ms. For non competetive fps games, I would like to use this Benq monitor, you reviewed. Never tried 4k before, so now that it is only 319 euro in my country, I would like to give it a try. To get to the point, I would like to ask you if it is possible to setup the resolution to 1920x1080 on this monitor. So when I activate nvidia surround, it will work properly with the other two 1080p monitors. I only use surround for sim flying. Please let me know, this is the final point for me to actual purchase this monitor. Can you check if you can change the resolution to 1920x1080 in nvidia control panel? I really appreciate the help. Thank you in advance.

If u want the best colors, I would recommend not using any of the preset picture modes. In the picture setting go all the way down to 'User' so you can adjust the Gamma to 4 (factory is 3) and turn the saturation up to around 70 or so and it will look amazing

Yo I have had this for 3 months with maybe 5 hours of gaming every day and 10 on weekends, and I think the hdr gave out it’s not working , everything looks gray

I’m debating getting a 24 inch monitor 1080p 1ms or this.. I’m told smaller screen= better cuz less to view .. I’m currently on a 27 2ms, btw I prefer performance > resolution for fps

Hey how are the graphics for a PS4 pro I see the performance is great but how’s the graphics how does the games look are they 4k 1440p ?? And do you use that hd button or is it not necessary ? Thank you !
