I'm a busy mother of 8 little kiddos - Here is the list of food included in each Bento Box I prepared for my kids. I love Bento Box lunches as they are easy to organize and to clean up. Make sure to include food from each of the four food groups like Vegetables, Fruit, Whole Grains and Protein! For small children quarter food items like grapes and cherry tomatoes. Have your children help you prepare and pack their lunch so they know they like what they will be eating! Leave a "love note" with words of affirmation to help boost their self esteem and encourage a positive mindset.. "You are Cherished!", "Your future is Bright!" or "Make it a great day!". They are sure to smile when they see a personal note from a loved one (no matter what age)!
