Thank you again,I was incorrect ,Thought there would be more of A difference in trigger pull, but they are Very close,I will stick with my first choice the BB,In my option,It is worth the extra money .Excellent Job Mark
Hey I've been wanting to pick one of those up either one for a while and do you have any knowledge on how these are to be carried? I get it there double action, that one has a safety blocks the other doesn't. Are they both safe to carry with the hammer decocked on the round in the chamber?
These are already becoming fairly limited. I bought an 81BB model from GanderRV about 6-9 mos. ago they said they had 300 about a week ago I went back to buy another and they were sold out. In fact several places were either sold out or now selling them for 229 with a few selling at 300.00. So I just scored a plain model 81 for 189.00 at MidwayUSA - last one too. Although they do have some BB models left but not many.
Killer. Everybody’s buying everything. I’m hoping when the dust settles everybody’s going to be selling everything. Waiting for that and saving me shillings. Killer little gun for 189 no doubt. Enjoy. Love mine. Regular 81. Shot it more than anything else in years. Hasn’t gotten close to old yet. Slowing down now and saving the bullets. Later
Tough decision, but given equal condition, for usability with its additional serrations, better sights, safety and beefier slide the BB wins. But the margin is small and the old school smooth look (IMHO) in a perfectly functional pistol is aesthetically the winner, and I will keep both.
