Akshat Jain I think his character makes for a good number two. He points out shit and he’s a complete dick. I love his character but having him as a main character would get tiring pretty fast.

These Bloomberg interviews, in my opinion, were the best part of this show. Everyone's unique personalities were put to the test and became more amplified during them.
Pretty sure the others are as well but this lady at least is actually one of the anchors on the Bloomberg channel so that was a nice touch considering how cringe these interviews.
@@sws212 That is the point of the interviews, a satire on silicon valley wouldn't be complete without making fun of hotshots giving interviews. I'm sure she enjoyed having a bit of a laugh considering she actually deals with many less hyperbole versions of the characters all the time.
Gilfoyle is my favorite character. Though played as a programmer, I've known a Gilfoyle in every one of the 11 server rooms where I've worked. Life in Silicon Valley would grind to a halt without the Gilfoyles. In this interview with Emily Chang, Gilfoyle displays the tightest media discipline I've ever seen.
Actually she backed out, she knew not to pick a fight with a Gilfoyle, so she threw in a little insult but it still didn't seem to make any difference.
The hard part about mining at that time is keeping all of them. 99% guys I know sells them too, too, too soon. Of course no one predict it would goes to 9k, not mention 20k at one point.
When you are so good playing a character that you end up as one dimensional. it's hard to imagine this dude in any other role. That is the fate of Gilfoyle.
I believe he was in Knocked Up. A bunch of guys had pink eye, then Martin rolled in and when he was asked about who farted in his eyes he said ”no. mmm, no pink eye for me. im just really…. hiighh”

0:31 LOL you have to see the episode to know why he's so furious at her phrasing, BECAUSE he wasn't a "cheerleader", it was HIS FUCKING IDEA and he and HE ALONE deserves all the praise the Pied Piper ICO can draw. Great acting, great writing, as always.
You know this is like the third time I have watched this clip, not counting the actual episode and I think we do not give Emily Chang enough credit in this scene for the absolute chilling hateful glaze she gives Gilfoyle.
If the dude mine since 2009, I'm sure he dont need too work anymore and could help Pied Piper numerous time during the show but hey it would be too easy
It'd be against character to altruistically help out, even for a company he works in and helped build. He's mainly there for fun and a sense of schadenfreude, as it amuses him when Danesh and Richard invariably fail at something catastrophically.
deckard163 thx for the info. Everyone in the crytpo community says cryptocurrencies r separate from fiat. Seems like its a little hard to define exactly what a cryptocurrency is.
I love Gilfoyle. An actual person like this would be a little off putting but he also has come in clutch several times for the company and he is a very valued and important character in the show. I love how he has gotten a little more attention each season. I wish Dinesh had more to his character as of late other than trying to be better than Gilfoyle. The previously mentioned trait has been consistent been consistent throughout but there was more in previous seasons other than just that. Feel that he is the only character who hasn't really gotten the development that he deserves unfortunately but hopefully he gets more development next season.
