Here are our City updates for July 9th, 2024
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Pearland Fire has answered several calls related to Carbon Monoxide poisoning due to improper use of generators
Remember, only place generators in a well-ventilated area, 20 feet away from your home, and make sure CO detectors are working
Debris Removal
The City is activating a debris removal contract
Place debris on the curb close to the street, separated by category (vegetation, construction, appliances, etc.)
When the pickup schedule is available the City will share it out
City Facilities
Incident Management Team is demobilizing at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9th and staff will return to normal operations
City Facilities will reopen for normal operations on Wednesday, July 10th
City staff will continue to monitor and respond to Beryl-related impacts but will do so from their normal office
Power Outage at Traffic Signals
If you approach a traffic signal at an intersection without power, please treat it as a four-way stop.
