Best .357 Magnum Revolvers 2024! Who Is The NEW #1? 

I bought my 686 in 1990. I carried that gun when I worked with the Florida game commission as a reserve game warden. I love that gun and will take it to my grave.

I like the b-roll carefully and closely showing a 6 shot cylinder while the voiceover talks about the improved 7 and 8 round models.

That’s a fine list of revolvers (with the exception of the Taurus), and anyone would be proud to have any one of them (with the exception of the Taurus). However, I think I’ll stick to my long time favorite, Messers Smith and Weston’s homage to Bill Jordan, the K-frame Model 66 with a 2¾” barrel. I have owned a number of these and their blued cousins, the Model 19. The only reason I have ever sold any of them was because someone at the range tried it and ended up offering me an obscene amount of money for it. In case I forgot to mention it, I prefer the M66 over the Taurus.

Have several. Favorite is the Kimber 3” Hogue grips, night sites and shrouded hammer. At only 26oz it’s easy to carry and the tooling and workmanship are excellent. Thanks for your fun vid. Semper fi🇺🇸

I would rather stay with open standard sights. I have a lot of rounds from 6 shooters due to my law enforcement days back in starting in 1983. Even though we switched to autos in the late 80s. I always had a 5 or 6 shot back on me in 38 plus P. Mostly 357 snub from S&W . Although the new smiths I have purchased seem to be lacking in quality . Having trouble with 3 inch 629 deluxe 44 mag. Yes I still mostly pack a wheel gun. Snub 357 mag model 60 pro 3 inch barrel from S&W. Can't seem to get Taurus in Massachusetts yet. Have my eye on one it they ever get Mass approved

I have the Kimber 4 in. Smooth trigger, but I don't like the 3 and half finger grip. wish the grip was slightly longer

I bought a Taurus 605 snub. It sucked. No more Taurus mini revolvers for me. It’s all Smith, Ruger, and Colt going forward. I will try to see if I can test drive the Diamondback; that might be fun.

Ii just have one question about the Python , because just like the Anaconda, and the Trooper, I've never known one not to jump time when shot double action. Did they fix it.

.357 magnum, no semi-auto cartridge even compares for size and shear power.

Ok... I have a 'few' .357 revolvers. 1969 Colt Python and 1975 Trooper and same vintage model 19 smith target along with a few single action 1873 Colt clones and a 686... on your list.... there is no way I would ever trust any Taurus. They were trash years ago.. it took years for people to notice they were trash. I would not bet that the new ones would not be trash 10 years from now.. false economy IMO to get one now but as they say... your mileage may vary. Ruger.... Spotty quality control. yeah. you might get one with undersize chambers just a fact of life.. and they are way way bulkier than they need to be. they are cast so they need the bulk for strength. you don't... Kimber... I have Kimber firearms but not the revolvers. I assume that the revolvers are of the same high quality as their rifles. If any Taurus appears on any list it means to me the RU-vid guy is getting paid or just not much of a firearms guy... Ir they put it near the top or have more than one in their list? well... it is obvious that they are payola whores. I will agree that the new Python is great. even tho the guy can't pronounce Python... Like I said my Python is the 1969 version that is so coveted. it shoots a tiny bit better than the new version in that the barrel bore is actually tapered (no one mentions this but it greatly improves cast bullet accuracy) but.. if you buy a new Python (PIE-Thon) you get a great gun
