First knot is just a double strand clinch knot. The second knot is an improved clinch knot threaded through the eye twice. 3rd is just a simple loop knot. The 4th is a version of San Diego jam knot. The 5th is the Palomar knot.
@@clevelandmortician3887 thanks We use the pr knot for heavy braid to fluorocarbon or mono for light game fish. Kingfish (amberjack) to 50 kilos. Hollow core braid with top shot (whipped) for marlin. And the Albright knot to join 15 or 20lb braid to 20lb fluorocarbon for snapper fishing with lures. Thanks for the feedback

The 4th knot I've been using it since I was a kid! Its so simple and strong never slips. All the other knots look good too but... I think I'll stick with that one. When people tell me about other ones I show them that one and most of the times they switch to that knot. Thanks for the video!!
That was awesome. This video is the most cleanest well practiced knot tying I have seen in my entire life on RU-vid. Good job man the Palomar knot is my favorite I've literally broke hooks before my line with that 1.
You can use a Palomar knot to tie a to your tackle works fine also tie double uni knot for braid to fluoro. These are the only two knots that you really need to know, everything else is superfluous.

I really enjoy these videos. I have seen that the same knot can sometimes be tied two different ways. But it's fun to watch and then grab a hook, some bifocals and fishing line and start tying.
I was using the knots today .. but the wind was a real problem. I think I need to petition some youtube channels, for wind friendly knots. The knot just has to be strong, not the strongest, and easy as possible for real fishing weather. PS >.. lost a great fish today, still making me cry.
