Amouage is one of the best niche brands nowadays, it has been making perfumes since 1983 and uses some of the best materials in perfumery. Their scents are made by the most reputable master perfumers who are given no budget limits for the formula costs. About this channel: I talk about designer and niche perfumes. My reviews include fragrances from brands like Chanel, Guerlain, Tom Ford, Dior, Roja Dove, Hermes, Lancome, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Dusita, Papillon, Parfum d'Empire, Armani, Prada and many more. My favourite notes are oud, vanilla, jasmine, rose, ambergris, benzoin, iris, cedar, vetiver, sandalwood and tobacco. I do most complimented lists, top 5, top 10 and top 20, long lasting perfumes, 5 stars perfumes, perfumes I love, best brands, worst brands, summer scents, fall scents, winter scents spring, scents, sexy scents, etc. I love most fragrance families, especially the leather, chypre, woody, floral and oriental. I also enjoy fougere, citrus, green, fruity scents. Not the biggest fan of aquatics, sweet and gourmands fragrances but will share a few thoughts on them anyway. Nice video, I enjoyed hearing about all of them. I've owned almost all of the Amouage line over the years but my favorite is *Memoir* it is a complete *work of art* I couldn't do it justice by just describing the notes in my review so I made it into an immersive story experience. I feel like that's the only way to describe Amouage frags. Total love it or hate house.

Nice video. I’ve smelled all but Gold from this list. Amouage is my favorite house by far and I have more bottles from them than any other house. One must try missing from your list is Overture. It is perfection to my nose.

How great. Ever sniffed Oud palao? I am seeing a great deal on it at the moment, but never sniffed it though. I really do enjoy Oud, contemplating whether to pick it up or not, not sure about the rum note in it, the rest are fantastic. Don’t really like boozy accord in my frags

Thank you Xavier 🙏 Masque Milano s quality is very high, so far I have tried Hemingway and Tango. If you like spicy/green ambers you will enjoy Tango a lot, its very unique. Always sample before buying ;)

Its funny how much our tastes align. Except i am a fan of beloved & reflection man but i hate figment with a passion lol. I wonder have you ever got your nose on silver? Also have you sniffed the new boundless? I got my bottle last week but curious of your thoughts D. It has a lot of noted that i love but for some reason it wasnt an instant love for me. Memoir is sooooo good and underrated. I have an older non-magnetic cap bottle type. Smells even more refined and better quality then the newer bottles of Memoir, which still smells amazing.

I’ve owned & sold on nearly all of these except reflection as i hate it. The only amouage i can’t part with is bracken which for me is the best modern fougere out there.

I like figment so much. Very rich, sweet and some incense. IF.... you can smell beyond the dirt scent. For me beyond that point i could understand the beauty of this fragrance. All year round scent for me. Btw. I love bracken and beach hut and have both in my collection. So figment is right up my alley 👌🏻

hi Figment is not sweet to my nose, sadly. I wish there was either brightness or sweetness added. It reminds me a smell of petrichor. Very linear scent.

Lyric man is on another level. I wear it but on my husband it’s amazing, so sexy. Memoir is also outstanding, in the older formulation.

@@aaronstein947 still a great perfume indeed. I have the new travel spray kit of it and the full bottle of the 2011 (ish). The older formulation is deeper and denser with a more pronounced base. One spray of the old formula is almost too much.

Myths Man is a floriental perfume. It has a lot of flowery notes and a dark, deep base. Very complex fragrance.

@@SuperGilly71 I understand, we are all different just saying that reflection was one the rare old Amouage frags that was made for the mass population, would also put Dia man here. Reflection is my signature scent. Gold man is the amouage frag that I can not stand; it reminds me of the scent of just cleaned public bathrooms

In the winter or milder weather reflection smells so peppery it makes me cough. I kept telling my husband I hated it. But then in the summer / heat he wore it gain and it smelled quite different, the pepper note was gone. This scent seems to be super weather dependent.

Sorry but Amouage is not at the same level as Bortnikoff and the like. I see Amouage as a clone house, let alone a top notch niche house. From where they source their ingredients to the craftmanship, they don't play in the same league.

Its ok bro I respect you opinion, Bortnikoff certainly uses better materials but Dmitry still has a long way to go before he reaches the blending capabilities of a trained french perfumer such as Guy Robert. The clone house part though I really don t agree as I have yet to smell a perfume similar to any Amouage... Roja Dove, Boadicea the Victorious and Xerjoff are way closer to the clone house status than Amouage will ever be, yet most consider them the ultimate niche brands, nonsense ;)
