This is the Cannes Coverage that I NEEDED! I Cannot wait for Anora... Sean Baker is one of the best American filmmakers working today and I'm so happy he's being paid his dues. Also, really hoping that The Substance gets a theatrical release... I want to see it in a packed, buzzy theater.

Thanks for the review, sounds like Sean Baker’s Anora and Emilia Perez are a few of the must see films coming out of Cannes I feel like studios and theaters need to select a few of the films from the first three big festivals and show them in theaters now, just to do something different

Saw you at the "Fay" screening. "Only" saw 40 films myself... Really liked "Anora", "The Substance", "Emilia Perez" and "Kinds of kindness". Thought "Rumours", "The Surfer", "Christmas eve at Miller Point" and "Misericordia" had good moments. The 4K remastering of "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg" was brilliant. 💋

The movie where the animals don't speak, is better than a bunch of movies, with good soundtrack, but no story...Joseph must be used to such 'patience' in Nick sieving these contents!

What about Jeremy Strong in The Apprentice? He's got just as much praise as Stan or even more,, some reviews singled him out. Seeing how the Best Acor award is not a 'lead actor award', and that they can and have given to more than one actor from the dame film? do you think they should've given to both of them, or do you think Stan was better?
