jay.. anti fly is such a good rule. every arme has a unit thaz has fly and they are in use all the time. every jumppack, every hovertank. everything has fly. if you attach junith to ansister Squad, the Squad has fly. wounding t9 tanks from the space marines in 3+ all the time is soooo good. dont gloss over it because you think of an aircraft.

1) As a reenactor, I would watch the heck out of a breakdown of Old World/Age of Sigmar costumes and cosplays. 2) Those gnomes are adorable, and are likely the one thing that would get me into Bloodbowl.

Hi Jay, Anti-Fly doesn't just apply against Aircraft. It goes off against anything with the Fly keywords like crisis suits, jump pack assualt Intercessor etc.

While aircraft are absolutely awful in 10th Edition, there are plenty of other models that have the Fly keyword that see lots of play.

Yes, PLEASE talk about the cosplay, that sounds like a great topic! And I agree on the display case, Cobalt Keep cases are much better, functionally and aestheticallly, especially with the magnetic bottom to keep your minis locked onto place. They probably will be less expensive than this official GeeDubs one will ever be.

It's blood bowl...bring on the silly! I absolutely love the blood bowl universe, the lore behind it is great as well. The game itself is quite fun to play and the threat of turn over makes the game go quite quickly. The miniature designers also seem to be having a blast with the figures by the looks of things. Oh and I would be up for a costume review as well

I've been in the German larp scene for a decade now and Warhammer is super popular as a background/setting there. Burgschneider (burg=castle + Schneider=seamstress) is a popular larp brand that make decent quality. So I think this is actually great. And about the blood bowl team: I so far mostly heard complaints about some of the rules that are announced/suspected and less about them being cute and silly. Blood Bowl is full of third party teams and you get all sorts of whacky teams there. The only thing I really heard is that this one feels like a third party team and less like an official team. There are also a few teams missing that desperately need a refresh and there's a Tzeench and a Squigg Team that people were hoping for for a while. So this one supprised everyone.

I actually want the new Shield Captain. I love Ol' Sweepy in all his squat glory. I do hope he isn't alone though. The Custodes need either new units or a line refresh, or both, but not just one dude. My ultimate hope for the Custodes codex is more unique gear. The Custodes are all suposed to be unique heros, Legends onto themselves, yet their line is all like, 5 of the same dude in a different pose. All with the same dang spear. Heck, they're suposed to have all these wild relics that you could take in 9th but zero representation of it on minis. I'd love just, an upgrade spure with like, 40 wild and unique weapons to really spuce up your gaurd. That and more Sisters of Silence support. Anywho, I love sweepy for his style, and I'll get him once he's available separately. Because I absolutely don't want that box. 😅 its like all stuff I already have.

Some Skaven models just got leaked with push to fit tabs on them, so I think that pretty much confirms that they’ll be in the 4th edition launch set this year, which as a Skaven fan who’s been waiting for new models I am very excited

Burgschneider is a German company that usually makes medival clothing in a historical accurate fashion. If they really put work in it it will be good quality but not cosplay style. It will be more like actual medival clothing

I love the joytoy horus heresy and firstborn marines, they seem to be using the porportions of tortuga bay/ the actual firstborn porportions. I feel so tempted to buy 2 of the basic MK6 marines and repaint them as ultramarines. And i reslly hope MK5 gets some representation sooner than later considering THAT APOTHECARY.

Just wanted to add one thing. I believe it's anti Fly, not flyer. Which isn't that bad. A LOT of stuff has fly. Most of the Eldar, Drukhari and Tau vehicles have fly. Unfortunately, not many guard things :( :)

Just to Note Anti fly hits a lot more then aircraft anything with the flying keyword gets hit and a lot of armies have good stuff with the fly keyword Battle suits, Zoanthropes, the Flyrant, all the drukhari and aeldari transports and boats that have the key word

joytoy is mostly just imperium and mostly space marines at that they have a small amount of xenos but its very much dedicated to more Heresy stuff. I also think a lot of this merch isnt meant for people who collect build paint and play with the models I think its there for fans of warhammer that would never do any tabletop stuff (this is more common then you think)

AoS always gets cool flavor for their estasblished factions and I think a lot of that comes from it being the newer game system still, as compared to 40k who is currently going through a refreshed phase of trimming and revitalization. I dont even care for the new subfaction for Slaves to Darkness but its cool its there and Im sure its convincing someone to not only start Slaves to Darkness, but AoS in general

Never really got into Blood Bowl because there just wasn't a team that spoke to me. Gnomes, on the other hand, I am 100% here for and I would die for these little dudes. There's nothing wrong with a bit of whimsy and weird in a grim-dark universe, if anything it just emphasises how awful everything else is. Not that the Gnomes are entirely defenseless - check out those punch-daggers!

I bought the warhammer jacket for 100£. I know it's alot and I could have got alot of models for that price But I REALLY love it, and can honestly see myself wearing it for the next 10 years. With that amount of usage it is just 10£ a year! That's how I justify it to myself haha

Huh. So, Bloodbowl is kind of in it's own continuity then, because Gnomes do exist in WHFB. They are infused with the essence of Ulgu, the shadow wind of magic, so they are very secretive. Few outside of their communities know that they exist. When they have cause to travel, they will put on a fake fat stomach so that they're mistaken as a Halfling. Halflings themselves wouldn't be fooled by it, but humans generally are.
