I used one of these to resurrect wheel chair AGM battries. Saved me h undreds of dollars. Great product. Ditto for UPS AGM batteris as well.

Great review. I’ve had one of these for a while now. I use it on my boat. I fully charge one battery with this then put a maintainer on that battery, then I put this charger/maintainer on the other battery and leave them both running. They keep both of my batteries fully charged.

Good job on the review, I like this charger/maintainer. I might grab one to charge my AGM battery.

I like the feature telling you if the battery is bad.

In your video you plugged the unit into an outlet first, then connected the clamps to the battery terminals. I've seen other videos where they placed the clamps on first and THEN plugged it in to the wall socket. Does it make a difference?

Thanks for the video. Question, should I connect both alligator clip to the battery terminal. I want to keep it trickle charge when my car sit in the garage. The manual said: For negative-grounded vehicle, connect POSITIVE (RED) clip from battery charger to POSITIVE (POS, P, +) ungrounded post of battery. Connect NEGATIVE (BLACK) clip to vehicle chassis or engine block away from battery.

Should I use the 12v standard mode for a 12v lead acid deep cycle battery? Or the 12v AGM mode? Thanks for your time and the video.

What happens if you forget to switch to the correct battery mode? I just charged my AMG battery in the std mode by mistake 😮

Great review. I just purchased this. Is the Winter mode for when you are leaving the battery on the maintainer all winter, or for charging also? What temp do you need to use it? I live in California, so not too cold. I just want to charge my boat batteries to top them off for Winter. They will stay in the boat, and I don't have power where I store the boat. So leaving it on Maintainer isn't an option for me. Thanks.
