I was just going through my tbr to pick my next read to start today, I decided on The Younger Wife. I am so glad you recommended this, it makes me more excited to read it.
Wow! I’ve read several of the ones you recommended. I also liked Not a Happy Family. I especially liked the ending. I’m saving Darling Girls for my beachy read. Listen for the Lie was meh and I can’t even remember what it was about, even with your prompts. Lots of great recommendations!
Great recommendations! I think I’m going to get She Started It on my Kindle today. I can’t decide about Daughter of Mine - I’ve loved some Megan Mirandas and dnf’ed others. Your review makes it sound great, so I guess I’ll have to try it! 🕶️🏖️☀️
I hope you enjoy She Started It! I'm the same with Megan Miranda. I read All The Missing Girls last month and couldn't stand it, but Daughter of Mine was really good in my opinion 💙
It was very creepy! 😊 It's a bedazzled image of the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo 💜 I'm not sure if there's a specific term for the type of craft, but my mom took the image of the Mystery Machine and covered it in all these small, colorful rhinestones and gave it to me as a gift. I'm a huge Scooby Doo fan!
I can highly recommend Laura McHugh's first book, The Weight of Blood. The atmosphere was amazing and she filled it full of tiny breadcrumbs that quietly wove their way into significance. Thanks for the great recs! I put The Return of Ellie Black on library hold.
