Best Bread for Kidney Disease 

I thank you SO much for the helpful information you give. This information is so needed for me now. My fiancee is 58 and has just had part of his aorta removed and a part put on that is plastic and part cow. His kidneys have been injured and he has high blood pressure and is now become slightly diabetic. As a black male I am learning more about his ethnicity. He had his heart operation on the 19th and must be in rehab for a while to learn to do things again. He also has Scholiosis and has Autism. His diet when he comes home will be so hard for me. It will be low in sodium, phosperous and potassium. I want to help his poor kidneys as much as I ca so he doesn't have to go through dialysis later. I am a white 76 year old woman and I want to learn things that aren't complicated to make. He's used to fast foods or plain foods at home. Not fancy recipes. You helped me so much today. I have high anxiety and am under a psychiatrist's care. I'm on 1,200mg Gabapentin and worry about everything. I have un-assessed ADHD also. You have a new sub as of today. I look forward to any helpful things I might learn from you. Food shopping is going to be SO hard for me. I was 400 pounds when I met him, and since April 2022, I have lost 266 pounds. I'm now 234 and am trying for 150. Thank you SO MUCH, Dr.

If you buy your bread from an actual baker, they don't have food labels- it gets handed to you in a brown paper bag! I don't know why in such videos the ingredients and 'type of bread' ie sourdough v rye bread v v v ..
