Nestled along the southeast coast of the Sunshine State, Pompano Beach is the perfect place visit, it's just a short 14 miles from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, there are three miles of gorgeous sandy beaches and some of the clearest, warmest waters along the Atlantic Ocean. Named after the Pompano fish that thrive in its waters, Pompano Beach is often referred to as "the Heart of the Gold Coast" because it sits right between the glitz of Palm Beach and the high energy of Miami. This was our first time here and we were lucky to find this cur place called The Surf Side Motel and Resort. This property is across the street from the beach and is less than 5 minutes' walk from various shops, restaurants, and the Pompano Fishing Pier. The property offers an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi.
