Best Budget Recurve Riser in the World - Probably 

Yep there are so many good budget risers out on the market. Kinetic if I'm not mistaken is a Korean brand with the risers produced in China.

Hi Leon. Thanks for the info. I guess on the good side it is recycled ;) however I have 2 of these risers and I noticed the second one I have seems slightly different to the first one (just feel) but it still shoots fine. I agree about the weight as well. It is quite heavy but it also feels solid in your hand. I guess it would make a good barebow option. I just watched Jake Kaminski's new short about the new Win&Win ATF-DX and was very surprised to see "made in China " on it.

@@brookvalleylife724 I´m a 3D- Archer an have 3 of the Junxing TBow "Satori" 19"- Risers. They are completely similar to the original Hoyt ones, except of the coating, which is less rough. I bought them for 100€ each instead of over 500€ for the original. I'm shooting them with up to 50lbs (on my fingers), no problem so far since 2 years. When I talk to sellers in Germany, they say the material must be worse or they even get aggressiv. One told me, he read in the internet that several risers had broken, but I could´nt find any of these notes yet (it was a pure lie!) It is a kind of religious war. I'm very satisfied, especially with my new limbs Samick Discovery R1 Carbon/Wood (110€). I paid 210€, which is 375NZ$ for the complete bow.

@@Arraia63 lots of people Diss the Chinese equipment but they are making most of it for thr big brands as well. I have 2 H7 risers, one with the hybrid system and one without. Both have been great one bow at 40lb with uukha limbs and the other at 30lbs with Nika limbs. I am waiting for a Nika riser to arrive which is supposed to be full of tech.

@@zioken81 No. I observed the market for so long now. There is definitely no left hand model, only right hand in 19".

Great that it comes in different sizes. I must admit I prefer enclosed limb pockets though, but that's just me. I have a set of Mybo limbs from about 10 years ago and they are still going strong. Good quality company.

I fully understand what you say, but what about limb pockets? Who invented them? I believe Hoyt had the first ILF pockets. Should we not buy every brand that uses them??? The only way to make it better for the consumer is to have competition. However direct copying is hard to justify.

@@brookvalleylife724 There is NO innovation by this company when they steal an existing design and merely reproduce it. All the myriad other companies, who "borrowed" ILF comparability, use their own in-house development to innovate and improve upon what has gone before. Directly reproducing, involves no measure of research and development towards coming up with something better for the archer.

@@brookvalleylife724 In a nutshell, this is the sort of business practice behaviour acted out by Thomas Edison and those like him when he/they stole designs from other innovators.

@@brookvalleylife724 Hoyt did create the ILF / Grand Prix limb pocket design. But, from my understanding, when other riser manufacturers started to copy it in the early 90's Hoyt never defended their copyright claim on it. Since then it became the defacto standard without Hoyt having ever officially released the original design specs. Hence why some limbs & risers have some fitment issues because ILF is a bit of a loose "standard" from each manufacturer reverse engineering it.

It's a good riser. Well made and shoots great.

Try to keep things simple. Thought I did talk about finish and weight. Finish is good and it's around the 1400gram mark for weight.

@@brookvalleylife724 Yeah I like the look of their limbs a lot 👍 I already have a few Nika accessories... Its a nice shape riser in the right price range and looks a great choice... but not mad on the colours personally...so I'd go for something else. If you're a straight red,black,blue guy this could be your riser for sure...I agree its worth the shortlist for others to consider...i will add it.

@daveeastcott9323 I have the N3, C1 and C2 limbs and can say they are great.

Have you been watching Jake Kaminski? Yes this is the TBOW, but the H7 version. No it is not light and the tillers blots work fine (nothing dropping in, just tight bolts how they should work) I have shot this a both light weight30lbs and at 42lbs and had no issues at all. I would also say never string a bow around your leg as any bow has the possibility of injuring you if you do things incorrectly. You do get what you pay for, I also have a NIK'A ET-11 riser, again Chinese and this shows how a cheap riser can be as good as an expensive riser. Jake showed how the limb bolts wouldn't tighten from the back..... well my Hoyt nexus and matrix did the same and you had to hold the limb bolt to tighten them.

I may well be getting another, with some light draw weight Nika N3 limbs very soon...

@@brookvalleylife724 yes also looking at the N3's @ about 44lbs (50lbs at my draw length). How have the C1's held up? I've had the Unison riser and WNS Delta F3 limbs for 6 months since I started recurve. I've been a compound shooter for about a year and decided I wanted to challenge myself with recurve. Been an interesting journey!

Before I bought a fivics riser, there were two cnc risers that could be said to be affordable, namely Sebastien Flute Neo, Kinetic Sovren. Both came to my attention before. What.your opinion about Sf neo riser and kinetic sovren..?

@@fahlvfaust677 Both good but with all the fancy bits and extras the TBOW H7 has my vote now. I may get another one and sell my hoyt matrix riser.

H9 and H8 you should check out. They have a formula riser and limbs for sale. They look ok, and if they are as good as the H7 them would be a good alternative for someone on a budget

@@brookvalleylife724 I have seen the H8 as well but I'm trying to stay with the ILF set up because of the limbs that I currently own. I have an old Hoyt GM but I was wanting something newer. That is why the H7 is inbound. Thanks for your reply.

​@@brookvalleylife724I finally got my H7 in due to it being hung up in customs for two months. I love this riser and it shoots great. The quality and machine work is top notch. Take care.

I use the AAE CAVALIER FREE FLYTE ELITE REST. I use wrap around rather than the stick on as they are more unlikely to come loose. I have alot of confidence with these. Yes, I do believe that any good rest should fit.

​@brookvalleylife724 I'm five ft eleven...and can pull quite a bit of weight....I was considering getting a 24 inch or 27 inch riser....but putting black wolf limbs on it. Was leaning towards medium, and possibly hoyt satori riser if I can get one big enough. What's your take on this hypothetical setup? Thanks in advance

There are a lot cheaper bows out there, but I wanted to show what good risers you can get. I will look into cheaper but usually it's something that is poor quality and dose not last long. However your idea of making a poor persons budget is great and I will give it a go for both recurve and compound. Thanks

Yes, it's ILF. Hoyt do the Xceed in ILF. It's the other system that allows for performance, smooth and hybrid settings that Junxing has changed.

Those saving money would strongly disagree with you. The archery injury by and large are ripping off consumers anyway. I'd have no issue buying a riser that was a copy of a so called top end bow.

@@capricornmagic63 Junxing's margins of profit are far larger than Hoyt's taking into consideration the manufacturing costs and (lack of) R&D costs, so who's actually doing the ripping off here?
